- Breez AI
Participated · Seed · Aug 2026
HeyBreez builds an operational platform for voice AI that handles retries, callbacks, follow-up logic, branching journeys, telephony and integrations to run voice agents at production scale. The platform serves four customer types: enterprises with dedicated support, agencies and resellers, self-serve developers and small businesses, and regional AI players embedding the technology. HeyBreez already handles multilingual workloads across banking, healthcare, logistics, hospitality and customer experience, and counts Arabic.ai and Xaia as integration partners reselling its platform. The company reports more than one million calls per month and campaign dialing of up to 10,000 calls a day for individual clients. Headquartered in Delaware with offices in Amman and Dubai, HeyBreez treats MENA as its commercial starting point while running workloads across Europe, the US and Latin America. CEO Karim Malhas previously served as chief innovation officer at IrisGuard.
- Ziina
Participated · Series A · Sep 2024
Ziina began as a P2P bill-splitting app and has expanded into a two-segment platform: Ziina Personal and Ziina Business, offering payment links, a payment gateway, POS QR-code payments, social payments and basic CRM. The company supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard and Visa, and integrates its gateway with platforms like WooCommerce and Shopify. Ziina charges straightforward fees (2.6%+1 AED for payment links and POS; 2.9%+1 AED for gateway transactions) and provides a dashboard for reconciliation. It reports 50,000 active retail and business users, 34% month-over-month customer growth over the last year, and revenues that have increased ten-fold year-over-year; transaction volume is on track to ~1.1 billion AED (~$300M) annualized. Growth has been largely product-led (about 55% organic acquisition) though the company is beginning to hire a sales team. With a Central Bank of the UAE stored value facility license, Ziina plans to expand financial services (including an upcoming ZiiCard and expense-management features) and to earn float on stored customer balances. Ziina operates a peer-to-peer payments wallet that lets users send and receive money using just a phone number, avoiding IBANs or SWIFT codes common in the UAE. The company is in the process of obtaining regulation and has a banking partner among the three largest banks in the UAE. Ziina launched a restricted beta and reports thousands of users who transacted more than $120,000 in the past month, plus over 20,000 people on a waiting list. The team includes alumni from Apple, Uber, Coinbase, Revolut, Stripe and others, and the founders intend to use growth capital to hire, acquire customers, and build commercial partnerships. Product roadmap includes expanding P2P payments across MENA and adding products such as remittances, investment and cryptocurrency services. The company plans geographic expansion into Saudi Arabia and Jordan in 2022, with Egypt and Tunisia targeted further out.
- qeen.ai
Participated · Seed · Jun 2024
Qeen.ai builds autonomous AI agents for e-commerce that handle content creation, marketing, and conversational sales for merchants across MENA. Its platform uses proprietary RL-UI technology to continuously learn from consumer interactions and dynamically personalize content (for example, device-specific text formats). Since launching its Dynamic Content agent in Q2 2024, Qeen says it has served over 15 million users, generated 1 million SKU descriptions, and helped merchants increase sales by 30%; notable clients include Dubai Store, 6th Street, and Jumia. The company employs a subscription-based, value-driven pricing model: content automation is charged per active SKU (typically $0.10–$0.20 per SKU per month) while its AI marketing agent is priced by interaction; Qeen declined to disclose total customers or revenue growth. Founded by former Google and DeepMind engineers Morteza Ibrahimi (CEO), Ahmad Khwlieh (CTO), and Dina Alsamhan (CBO), Qeen currently has over 25 employees across the UAE and Jordan and plans to scale across MENA before expanding globally. The startup is using new funding to expand its AI platform, grow the team, and attract more customers amid rapid regional e-commerce growth. qeen.ai is a Dubai-based AI startup founded in 2023 by Dina Alsamhan, Ahmad Khwileh and Morteza Ibrahimi. The company provides no-code, native GenAI product-discovery solutions for e-commerce businesses of all sizes. Its platform learns from user interactions and autonomously improves content in real time and across multiple languages without manual intervention. qeen.ai aims to boost online sales and customer lifetime value (LTV) for its clients. The company closed a $2.2M Pre-Seed funding round and intends to use the proceeds to expand operations and its business reach. Investors in the round include Wamda Capital, 10x Founders, Aditum, Dara Holdings, Jabbar Group, Phaze Ventures and Eureka 460.
