Founded in 2022 by former operators from Klarna, AWS, and Tink, Bits Technology delivers a single system that replaces fragmented local tools used for Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), anti-money-laundering (AML), and fraud prevention across more than 100 jurisdictions. Its platform integrates data from European company registries, beneficial ownership databases, PEP and sanctions lists, and additional fraud signals, then applies automated decisioning and unified case management. Customers such as Qliro, Alisa Bank, and Walley use Bits to modernize end-to-end compliance; Qliro reports manual case handling reductions of 50-70% and 4–6× faster onboarding and approval times. The company positions compliance as a growth enabler, helping regulated institutions expand into new markets without rebuilding local stacks. With rising EU regulatory demands and the forthcoming single AML rulebook, Bits targets institutions that must upgrade legacy point solutions. The newly raised capital will fund deeper automation, broader regulatory data coverage, and an expanded commercial footprint across key European markets. No revenue or user figures were disclosed in the article.

Two is an Oslo-based B2B payments platform founded in 2021 that provides instant upfront payments to sellers, flexible net terms for buyers, and AI-driven fraud prevention. Its fully productised infrastructure includes proprietary risk engines Frida and Delphi, a business onboarding solution, and embedded deferred payment features tailored for B2B transactions. The platform has been adopted by more than 200 merchants across the Nordics and Europe and has secured partnerships with Visa, ABN AMRO, Qliro, Avarda, and Wikinggruppen. Two projects more than 150% year-over-year growth in revenue and payment volume for 2025. The company reports rapid adoption across both large enterprises and SMEs and aims to deliver a consumer-like checkout experience for business buyers. The new capital will be used to scale the product and support expansion into the US and select Western European markets. The product offers a no-code solution for small businesses and an API for medium and large merchants to integrate into existing order flows. Two says buyers can complete purchases and be onboarded as customers in about 30 seconds. The company launched its product in Q2 2021 and reports growing 243% quarterly since. Two was founded in 2020 and operates as a remote company with about 70 employees distributed worldwide. Financially, the company has raised a total of €28 million to date.

1X develops humanoid androids (NEO) and a wheeled enterprise robot (Eve) that use embodied learning and language models to understand natural-language instructions and learn tasks over time. The company originated as Halodi Robotics, was founded ten years ago by Bernt Øivind Børnich, and operates a training facility (The Studio) in Moss, Norway. Its technical work includes a high torque torque-to-weight drive servo motor for soft, organic movement, and Eve has been deployed for industrial tasks such as moving equipment, opening doors and fulfilling orders. In 2022 1X partnered with OpenAI to integrate language and embodied learning models as the robots’ decision-making “mind.” The article notes 1X ships to enterprise customers and lists Sunnass Hospital and Everon (about 250 androids deployed for night guarding) among users, though exact growth figures are unknown. With this funding the company plans to support existing enterprise customers, scale data collection and training for embodied AI, and bring Neo into the consumer market. 1X Technologies is an engineering and robotics company that develops androids capable of human-like movements and behaviours. Founded in 2014, the company has over 60 employees and recently rebranded from Halodi Robotics. Its current products include the wheeled android EVE, and it is developing a bipedal model called NEO. The company says its androids operate at "1x speed" to work alongside people in real-world settings. 1X plans to scale production of EVE in Norway and North America and accelerate development of NEO. The company aims to provide practical, real-world automation to augment labour globally.

1X Holding develops humanoid robots and is preparing to enter the Chinese market through a partnership with two Chinese firms. Zhejiang Zhongjian Technology and Shenzhen Sunrise New Energy intend to invest a combined USD6 million into 1X Holding AS via an overseas special-purpose vehicle. The parties have signed a document of intent but say payment terms and any shareholding ratios for the 1X investment remain subject to further negotiation. The two Chinese partners will also form a joint venture, Shanghai Zhike Robotics, to handle smart-robot sales and operations on the Chinese mainland. The JV has a registered capital of CNY60 million and will be controlled by Zhongjian Tech. Zhongjian will pay CNY36 million for a 60% stake in the JV while Sunrise will invest CNY24 million for the remainder. The arrangement is preliminary and contingent on further negotiation and completion of definitive agreements. 1X develops NEO, a humanoid robot designed to operate in environments built for humans and address global labor shortages. The company emphasizes an Embodied AI offering to give NEO more general-purpose capabilities. 1X has faced skepticism that humanoid systems are over-engineered and that true general-purpose functionality remains further off. CEO Bernt Øivind Børnich said the latest funding will allow the company to offer payouts to its team. The funds will also be used to enhance its Embodied AI product and to execute go-to-market plans for NEO. Total fundraising now stands at $125 million. 1X (previously Halodi Robotics) develops androids designed to perform human-like movements and behaviors for practical, real-world labor augmentation. Its first commercially available model, EVE, is in production with manufacturing scale-up planned in Norway and North America. The company is also developing an upcoming bipedal android model called NEO. Leadership is headed by CEO and founder Bernt Øyvind Børnich. 1X was founded in 2014 and now employs over 60 people globally. Recently announced fundraising indicates the company is securing capital to accelerate product development and manufacturing expansion.
