- Alva Industries
Led · Equity · Jul 2026
Alva Industries develops ultra-compact, frameless electric motors using its patented FiberPrinting manufacturing technology to deliver high torque density and cogging-free performance. Headquartered in Trondheim, the company serves customers across robotics, aerospace, defence, medical technology, industrial automation and autonomous systems. Alva reports hundreds of active customer projects across commercial and defence markets and growing demand from OEMs in robotics, aerospace and medical devices. The company manufactures its products in Norway and plans to significantly scale production capacity to meet increasing international demand. The recent equity financing will fund manufacturing expansion, further product development and support its international growth plans.
- Mantle8
Led · Series A · May 2026
Founded in 2019 in Grenoble, Mantle8 develops a suite of proprietary geological exploration tools, notably HOREX®, a multiphysics 4D imaging platform designed to map active subsurface hydrogen systems. The company focuses on identifying accumulations of high-purity natural (geologic) hydrogen and prioritizing prospects for drilling. Mantle8 plans a global exploration and drilling campaign over the next two years financed by the recent €31 million Series A, aiming to perform initial industrial tests to quantify volumes, purity and reservoir quality. Management projects potential production costs around €0.80 per kilogram if commercially viable reservoirs are found. The firm has raised €37 million in total to date and is positioning to demonstrate that identified systems can produce sustainable, commercially exploitable hydrogen flows.
- XO Life
Participated · Equity · Apr 2026
XO Life develops "Brite," a global meta-platform that consolidates digital product and therapy support so pharma and medtech companies can provide patient information, monitoring and engagement in a single infrastructure. The company emphasizes scalability by enabling many therapies and markets to use one platform instead of separate apps for each medication. XO Life works with more than 40 pharmaceutical companies, including three of the world's top ten, and plans to position Brite as a consolidated offering in early 2025. It intends to invest the new funding in AI capabilities and in processes to simplify and speed pharma onboarding across entire portfolios. XO Life focuses on B2B relationships at the interface of patients, medical professionals and the pharmaceutical industry, where long sales cycles and regulatory requirements are prominent. The company is headquartered in Munich and is using successive funding rounds to move from platform build-out to international scaling across Europe.
- Nofence
Participated · Series B · Sep 2025
Founded in Norway in 2011, Nofence pioneered the world’s first commercial virtual fencing system for cattle, sheep and goats. Its solar-powered collars use GPS and mobile networks to define digital boundaries and deliver escalating audio warnings followed by a mild electric pulse if an animal crosses the line, all managed through an easy-to-use app. The technology supports rotational grazing, lowers labor and production costs, and improves land stewardship, making it attractive to climate-conscious farmers. Adoption has grown from pilot projects in 2016 to more than 150,000 collars sold, and the company now employs about 90 people across Norway, the UK, Ireland, Spain and the United States. Recent hiring of a U.S. managing director and national sales director underscores a push into the American market, where producers in 48 states are already using the product. With fresh capital, Nofence plans to accelerate expansion in North America and Europe, advance product development, and deepen customer support. Investor enthusiasm highlights the firm’s momentum and positions it to make virtual fencing a global standard in livestock management.
- Filics
Participated · Equity · Jul 2025
Filics is a Munich-based robotics company that develops flat-transport robots for intralogistics. Its first product, the Filics Unit, consists of two omnidirectional robots designed to autonomously drive under and transport Euro pallets and standard load carriers, carrying up to 1.2 tons. The system minimises manoeuvring space and can deliver up to 30% space savings today, addressing space constraints, capacity bottlenecks, and labour shortages in warehouses. The company closed €13.5 million to expand product development, scale its robotics platform, and internationalise its business model. Filics plans to further develop the Filics Unit for floor block warehouses by the end of 2025 to enable up to 66% space savings and aims in the medium term to enable fully autonomous truck loading in under five minutes. Management says the funding will be used to optimise and scale the technology and roll out the solution more broadly.
