- Nums AI
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Nums AI develops tabular foundation models that analyze and predict missing values in structured data (rows and columns) in a single inference step. Its TFM approach is designed to handle multiple tasks—such as demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and credit evaluation—without building separate task-specific models. The company plans to commercialize via API offerings and on-premise deployments for customers with data-export constraints, targeting sectors like manufacturing, finance, retail and commerce, and healthcare. Nums AI intends to use its recent seed funding to expand GPU infrastructure and grow its research team to accelerate model development. The company was founded by CEO Jae-min Yoo, an academic with a Google PhD Fellowship and assistant professorship background, alongside co-founders Doo-ho Lee and Min-yong Cho, who bring research and engineering experience in structured-data AI.
- Pensive
Participated · Seed · Feb 2026
Pensive is a Silicon Valley-based education technology startup whose AI platform allows professors and teaching assistants to automate grading and instant feedback for large university lectures. The company says its system cuts grading time by up to ten-fold and has already processed 3 million grading tasks and facilitated more than 300,000 AI tutoring sessions since its closed beta launch in February. Over 1,000 professors and TAs across 100+ institutions—including Harvard, UC Berkeley and Columbia—are active users. Founded by CEO Yoon-Seok Yang, a UC Berkeley graduate and published AI researcher, and CTO Min-Jun Kim, a former senior ML engineer, the team now includes alumni from Carnegie Mellon, Yale and Dartmouth. Pensive originated from the founders’ work at Socratic AI and their observation of bottlenecks in large-scale university courses. With the new capital, the startup plans to enhance its product and deepen penetration in the higher-education grading market. Long-term, Pensive aims to evolve from grading automation into a full AI-driven personalized learning platform.
- Index Robotics
Participated · Seed · Feb 2026
Index Robotics is building upper-body humanoid robots aimed at automating high-mix, low-volume industrial processes that still rely on skilled manual work. Its proprietary IA series actuators deliver the joint accuracy and fast response required for repetitive tasks and form the hardware foundation of the company’s first robot, the INDEX01 prototype. The robot’s compact upper-body form factor lets it be deployed quickly even in cramped factory spaces, targeting logistics, machining and precision assembly roles. INDEX01 is engineered to minimise installation space and construction time while gradually expanding autonomous capability through AI trained on motion data collected from real production lines. CEO Shin Seung-hoon argues that hardware reliability is the main barrier to humanoid robot commercialisation, so the company takes a hardware-first approach rather than relying primarily on software. With KRW 1.5 billion in new seed funding, Index Robotics will continue developing the IA actuators, validate the INDEX01 prototype and expand proof-of-concept collaborations with domestic and international manufacturers and research institutes.
- Kindorf
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Kindorf operates an AI-driven platform composed of an AI agent builder, workflow engine, and automation hub that streamlines fashion design and production. Using this technology, the company runs “2000 Atelier,” which creates stage outfits for K-pop artists, and “2000 Archives,” a direct-to-consumer fashion brand. Kindorf positions itself as a tech-enabled catalyst for innovation across fashion planning, manufacturing, and operations. With fresh funding, the startup plans to further enhance its AI agent platform, extend its fashion and 3D-modeling automation solutions, and forge overseas partnerships to accelerate global expansion. Management also expects the capital to support talent acquisition as it scales internationally. To date, Kindorf has secured KRW 38 billion (approximately USD 28.5 million) in combined seed investment and government R&D support. The company views its recent Global TIPS selection as formal validation of its technology and growth potential.
- Cuckoo
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
Cuckoo offers a corporate AI simultaneous interpretation service aimed at global sales, marketing, and customer-support teams. The platform delivers real-time translation and interpretation during business meetings and team calls, while continuously learning a customer’s internal documents and industry-specific terminology. It already supports 20+ languages and counts Snowflake, PagerDuty, and Weights & Biases among its early adopters. Founded by Lee Yong-hee and Kim Geon-woo, the company positions itself as a turnkey solution for enterprises seeking seamless cross-language collaboration. With fresh capital in hand, Cuckoo plans to accelerate product development, enhance its AI interpretation and localization capabilities, and pursue global expansion initiatives. The recent seed financing of $1.8 million provides its current financial footing; no additional revenue or user metrics were disclosed. The company operates under the legal entity Cuckoo Labs, Inc. from Seoul, South Korea.
