Noru develops an "agentic compliance" platform that connects to company systems via APIs to automate regulatory requirements and replace manual processes with continuous monitoring. The startup embeds compliance directly into development and operational workflows to help companies meet standards such as ISO and SOC and prepare for frameworks like the EU AI Act. Founded six months ago by Bip Thelin and Therese Ruth and based in Stockholm, Noru has onboarded about twenty paying customers during its pilot and supported them in achieving multiple security certifications. Financially, Noru completed a €560,000 pre-seed round led by Ampli Ventures with participation from Andreessen Horowitz Scout Fund, SSE Business Lab, the DHS angel network, Nordic investors, and Mark Strande. The company plans to use the funding to grow its customer base and hire engineers and marketing staff.
