  • Lexter.ai

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2024

Lexter.ai offers a proprietary AI platform, combining internally trained models with external LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, Anthropic’s Claude) to interpret, draft and strategize legal documents and petitions. The product — built by a 35-person team of technologists and lawyers — evolved from contract-analysis tools used in due diligence to a broader assistant that can write juridical drafts and provide legal fundamentation. The company is shifting to a freemium model to attract small law firms, with paid tiers and plans starting at R$99 (previously R$5,000). Lexter reports a current base of about 1,000 users and aims for 20,000 users and 3,500 paying customers by year-end. In 2023 the startup posted 300% revenue growth year-over-year and projects growth up to nine times with the new moves. Lexter is also launching an institute to produce content, events and university partnerships to increase adoption among lawyers.
