- Fibionic
Participated · Seed · Mar 2026
fibionic has developed “fibionic fiber placement” (FFP), a bionic, load-path-oriented method for placing fibers in composite parts. The technology achieves cycle times as low as one minute per component while cutting material usage by up to 60 % and product weight by up to 50 %. It is already being deployed at scale through a partnership with Italian bicycle-saddle maker Selle Italia, and targets applications across automotive, sporting goods, aerospace, robotics, UAVs and defence. The company plans to expand its proprietary technology platform into simulation, equipment, materials, licensing and software tools. Proceeds will also fund growth of the engineering and business-development teams and the transition of existing pilot projects to full-scale production. No revenue figures or prior funding amounts were disclosed in the article.
- CommerceClarity
Participated · Seed · Nov 2025
CommerceClarity, founded in 2024 by former executives from Amazon, Everli and Bain & Company, delivers an AI-powered operating system that ingests, enriches and validates unstructured product information, turning it into structured, channel-ready content. The platform addresses the growing complexity of product-assortment workflows that still rely on spreadsheets and legacy IT, positioning retailers for an era in which AI agents are expected to mediate trillions in retail sales. Currently used by more than 40 retailers and brands, including Nestlé Purina, Arcaplanet, Cisalfa, 1000Farmacie and Caddy’s, the software is designed to cut operational costs by up to 90 percent, boost traffic and sales by up to 30 percent, and shrink time-to-market from weeks to hours. Revenue figures were not disclosed, but the company has offices in Milan, Rome and London and is focused on international expansion. The fresh capital will be used to scale its infrastructure for AI-agent commerce and accelerate market entry abroad. CommerceClarity ultimately aims to become the core data layer that keeps retailers visible, discoverable and competitive as AI influences consumer discovery and purchasing decisions.
- Tethys Robotics
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Founded in 2021 as a spin-out from ETH Zurich, Swiss deep-tech startup Tethys Robotics is building Tethys ONE, a 35-kilogram hybrid AUV/ROV capable of operating autonomously or via remote control at depths of up to 300 meters. The drone fuses sonar, 3D cameras and metal detectors with AI-powered navigation to deliver fast, precise inspections without the need for large support vessels or human divers. Its modular design supports multiple payloads, targeting applications such as offshore wind-turbine inspection, oil-and-gas asset maintenance and explosive ordnance disposal. Initial validation has come through collaborations with the Swiss Army, the Swiss Drone and Robotics Centre and several pilot programs. Co-founders Jonas Wüst (CEO) and Pragash Sivananthaguru draw on deep ETH robotics research and practical diving experience. The company plans to advance toward full autonomy, develop additional payload modules and scale serial production while expanding across Europe, the U.S. and Asia-Pacific. A recent €3.5 million pre-seed round provides capital to accelerate product development, grow the team and support these global expansion plans.
- Covision Media
Led · Seed · Mar 2025
Covision Media develops AI-based 3D scanning hardware and software to mass-produce reality-grade 3D models for e-commerce, AR/VR, gaming, and industrial use. Founded in 2020 by Burkhard Güssefeld and Franz Tschimben and based in Bressanone, the company sells scanners and software that automate large-scale 3D content production. Customers named in the articles include adidas, Inditex Group (ZARA and Massimo Dutti), GUCCI, Salomon, Quad Graphics, NUREG, and CLX Europe. Its technology is used for virtual try-on, higher-quality in-game assets, marketing assets, and to help build large, high-quality 3D datasets for 3D machine learning—Meta is using Covision’s technology for a 3D Digital Twin Catalog. The company plans to commercialise its scanning technology globally and accelerate development of AI-powered products such as text-to-3D and image-to-3D tools. The recent seed funding will strengthen the core scanning business and enable automated, at-scale 3D content generation and further product development.
