Harmony Intelligence develops defensive AI technologies and products designed to detect, test and harden systems against AI-powered cyber threats. The company acts as a safety evaluator for leading AI labs and governments, contributing cybersecurity testing for frontier models and supporting the International Network of AI Safety Institutes. Harmony has briefed the Australian Senate on emerging AI risks and works with enterprises and public-sector bodies to assess vulnerabilities. With a distributed team of engineers and researchers across Australia and the US, the company focuses on automated, continuous security tools. Using the new funding, Harmony plans to advance next-generation defensive capabilities, including AI automated penetration testing systems that continuously probe and strengthen security postures. The company is actively hiring for roles such as Software Engineer and Chief of Staff to support its growth phase.

WealthMore is a consumer investment platform built to broaden access to wealth advisers through adviser-led portfolios, licensed advisers, and financial planning. The product requires a $5,000 minimum and offers three pricing tiers starting at $25 per month. The company partnered with Apex Clearing Corporation for brokerage services and has built community features such as #firstgenwealth and #blkwomenwealth to engage users. WealthMore launched a beta in June and plans to exit beta around the end of the year. The founder, Mical Jeanlys-White, drew on prior product experience at American Express and JPMorgan Chase and has focused on diverse advisers and grassroots brand-building including lifestyle products and community events. The team currently numbers 10 people and conducted surveys of over 300 potential users while designing pricing and features.

Velt offers a JavaScript SDK that lets developers add collaborative features — commenting, live walkthroughs, voice/video recording, huddles and AI-powered tooling — to any app in under 30 minutes. The product set also includes Superflow, a companion aimed at marketing agencies for collaborative work on websites, videos and PDFs. Several features use AI: automatic transcripts and summaries for recordings, comment categorization, and a contextual copilot for human-to-AI collaboration and in-context content edits. Velt targets creative tools, business analytics and CRM/task-management verticals and lists customers such as eqtble, awesomic, zoomforth and parc. The company declined to disclose exact customer count but is approaching three digits and says it doubled revenue in the past two months; pricing starts at $999 per month for up to 5,000 monthly active users and some large customers with >1M monthly users require custom pricing. Velt launched as part of Y Combinator’s Winter ’22 batch and was founded by former Google PM Rakesh Goyal. The 10-person team is distributed across the U.S., U.K. and India, and the firm plans to heavily prioritize AI on its roadmap.

mpathic is a leader in AI-powered actionable conversation analytics specializing in healthcare, life sciences, and client services. Its conversational analytics platform leverages natural language processing and generative AI to detect and correct cultural attunement issues in real time during provider–patient interactions. The company was awarded an NIH SBIR Phase I grant to develop the project titled "Empathy for Everyone: Generative AI that Improves Patient-Provider Cultural Attunement in Real Time," aimed at addressing racial bias in mental healthcare AI. mpathic is partnering with Wave to build a diverse, representative dataset for model training, drawing on Wave's focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. A team of psychologists and researchers from mpathic and Wave, including Alison Cerezo, Grin Lord, Amber Jolley-Paige, Jay Palat, Tad Hirsch, Sarah Adler, and Alison Pickover, will execute the project. The initiative aims to reduce disparities in mental healthcare by improving cultural attunement, increasing retention and therapeutic outcomes for minority patients. mpathic builds enterprise software that analyzes conversations across texts, emails, audio calls and other channels to help employees detect potential misunderstandings and adjust communication in real time. The product targets use cases in customer service, insurance claims, healthcare and human resources—'anywhere where empathic conversations impact key outcomes.' CEO and co-founder Grin Lord, a trained psychologist, has described mpathic as 'Grammarly for empathy.' The company was founded in 2021 and is based in the Seattle area. mpathic has 12 employees. Financially, the company has raised $4 million in a recent seed round and $5.2 million in total to date.

Candid offers a subscription-based platform that centralizes wholesale communication, invoices, storefronts and orders for brands and retailers. Sellers create storefronts with visuals and company facts while buyers view catalogs and place orders through a wholesale-specific cart showing approval status, payment terms, estimated delivery and integrated messaging. The company also provides a fintech product, Candid Pay, which lets sellers accept credit-card payments. Founder Avery Bloom started Candid after facing wholesale coordination challenges while growing his apparel brand North of West; he co-founded the company with Dave Lowensohn. Candid employs nine people, mainly in Portland, and recently raised $2 million in new funding. Backers in the round include Amplify, TenOneTen, Stage VP, SaaS Ventures and First Row Partners, adding to earlier investment from Cascade Seed Fund and Pacific Northwest angel investors. The new funding will be used to grow the team and fuel marketing, and Candid plans to launch a Squarespace partnership allowing Squarespace customers to add Candid as a third-party extension within weeks.
