GLP-1 Edge has been demonstrated in cell and animal models to stimulate GLP-1 secretion to blood and is shown in multiple consumer formats including gummies, powder, and capsules. The company positions the ingredient for integration into bars, shakes, snacks, beverages and supplements to address the global weight management market. Lembas emphasizes food-as-medicine applications and plans to scale commercialization and deepen commercial agreements across the ingredients, food and supplements value chain. OlsAros is an AI-enabled crop-breeding platform that is initially focused on developing climate-resilient wheat. The company leverages a proprietary tech platform to accelerate discovery of crops that can thrive in challenging climate conditions. Management says the product work is intended to boost food security and resilience in the global food system. The €2.5 million seed financing will be used to expand the company’s geographical reach and to further refine its platform. The announcement was made on LinkedIn by CEO Elén Faxö; no operating metrics were disclosed in the post.
