It will use recent funding to accelerate go-to-market plans, expand use cases and develop new business applications. The company also plans to invest in channel partner integration and development, international expansion, and platform innovation and capabilities. CallMiner closed a $75 million investment from Goldman Sachs to support these initiatives. CallMiner provides a cloud-based voice-of-the-customer analytics solution that automatically analyzes every customer interaction across calls, chat, email and social. The platform offers both real-time monitoring and post-call analytics, delivering actionable insights to contact center staff, business analysts and executives. That cooperation was first announced on September 16, 2011, and the recent announcement ahead of ESCRS in Vienna generated several indication-of-interest deposits toward future delivery upon European commercialization by Topcon. Topcon framed the move as a commitment to technologies that enhance patient outcomes and to integrating LensAR's system with its ocular surgery, implants and diagnostics portfolio. LensAR described the ESCRS reception and the Topcon investment as an endorsement and a commitment to integration and success of the technology in partner physician practices.
