  Founded in 2022 by brothers Mattia and Alessio Dalla Piazza, Equixly has built a penetration-testing platform that deploys proprietary AI agents to mirror the reasoning of skilled human attackers and autonomously probe API landscapes. The system integrates into CI/CD pipelines, maps an organisation’s entire API estate and can uncover the 10–20 % of shadow endpoints companies are often unaware of. According to the company, it identifies up to 80 % more vulnerabilities than standard DAST tools while keeping false positives below 1 %, enabling security teams to focus on real issues. Customers in European banking, energy, insurance and retail sectors already rely on the product to harden their defences. The business generates revenue by offering its platform to these enterprise clients, although specific figures were not disclosed. Fresh capital from its Series A provides runway to hire additional staff, further refine its in-house AI models and begin international expansion, starting with a UK sales and marketing office. Management believes looming regulatory changes and the continued proliferation of APIs will intensify demand for its autonomous security solution.
