- UltiHash
Participated · Seed · Dec 2023
UltiHash builds a high-performance, sustainable data storage infrastructure that unifies cloud and on-premises architectures. Its technology can decrease companies' storage needs by up to 50%, helping customers save on storage and network costs without compromising speed. The platform maximizes resource efficiency for Big Data applications and supports growth of machine learning/AI, business intelligence, and product engineering workloads. By ensuring users only store and migrate the data they need, UltiHash condenses data footprints and minimizes environmental impact. The company was founded in 2022 by Tom Lüdersdorf (Co-Founder and CEO) and Katja Belova (CTO). It raised $2.5M in pre-seed funding.
- Dreamdata
Participated · Series A · Dec 2022
Dreamdata provides a platform that turns raw, siloed customer-journey information into a single source of truth, giving B2B marketing teams granular ROI insights and instant activation capabilities. Its software eliminates fragmented analytics and cumbersome workflows by building a unified go-to-market data model. The product layers AI tools and agents on top of this data foundation, enabling features such as audience orchestration, attribution reporting, predictive signals, and automated conversion syncs across major advertising platforms. By supplying accurate, purpose-built data, Dreamdata helps marketers move from insight to action in real time. The company is headquartered in New York City and is led by CEO Nick Turner. While revenue and user counts were not disclosed, the company’s latest $55 million Series B round signals significant growth investment. Proceeds from that financing will fund operational expansion and further development of the platform’s predictive and automation capabilities.
- Overstory
Participated · Seed · Oct 2020
Overstory builds an AI-driven grid-resilience platform that analyzes high-resolution satellite data to identify vegetation and infrastructure risks for electric utilities. Its software pinpoints tree-by-tree threats, helping utilities reduce outages, prevent wildfires, and optimize maintenance budgets. The company recently introduced the next generation of its Wildfire Intelligence product, featuring a proprietary Fuel Detection Model that locates the highest-risk fuels and recommends precise mitigation actions. Overstory reports that it now serves six of the ten largest utilities across the Americas. The team has grown to more than 80 employees representing 16 nationalities and spans machine learning, data science, arboriculture, and wildfire expertise. With new leadership from incoming COO Tamara Mendelsohn, the firm plans to accelerate AI risk-model development, broaden its wildfire-prevention suite, and expand its global footprint. Overstory maintains dual headquarters in Boston and Amsterdam.
- Leetify
Participated · Seed · May 2020
Leetify is a Stockholm-based e-sports startup developing an AI coaching platform for gamers, currently in beta. The platform automatically analyses matches to identify weaknesses, personalise practices, and track progress. The company aims to recreate the training infrastructure of traditional offline sports and build an ecosystem to take gamers from amateur to pro. More than 10,000 gamers use the platform every month. The startup raised seed funding to accelerate product development and is actively hiring. Co-founders include CEO Anders Ekman and Vitalii Zurian.
- Whispr
Participated · Seed · Mar 2019
Whispr builds an AI-based voice guidance assistant that lets frontline workers converse—similar to Siri or Google Assistant—to receive step-by-step guidance on work processes. The startup targets industries including aviation, hospitality, facilities, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Whispr converts existing SOPs, checklists, and manuals into an interactive voice assistant rather than creating processes from scratch, according to CEO Hugh O'Flanagan. The company raised $750,000 in a funding round led by Seedcamp with participation from PreSeed Ventures, Futuristic VC, and Bose Ventures. It plans to use the funding to double headcount across its Copenhagen and Dublin offices. Whispr is also developing an API to allow customers to integrate the assistant into their own applications.
