- NetBird
Participated · Series A · Jan 2026
NetBird is a Berlin-based software company that offers an open-source network security platform designed to create secure, private networks for organisations of all sizes. The product eliminates the need for port configuration, centralised gateways, and complex firewall rules, dramatically reducing operational complexity for engineers and DevOps teams. Since launching on GitHub in 2021, NetBird has grown through a product-led, community-driven model in which users freely test the software in their homelabs before championing wider adoption. Its customer roster spans managed service providers, technology firms, large enterprises, and public-sector organisations, with names such as Sport Alliance, netgo, Signicat, and VIEW Group already deploying the platform. NetBird positions itself as a European-developed, privacy-focused alternative to legacy VPN solutions that often suffer from recurring security vulnerabilities and heavy maintenance burdens. The company’s go-to-market strategy centres on transparent open-source development, minimal friction onboarding, and strong community engagement. Fresh capital from its Series A round gives NetBird the resources to extend engineering efforts, broaden product use cases, bolster community support, and continue global expansion.

By supplying accurate, purpose-built data, Dreamdata helps marketers move from insight to action in real time. The company is headquartered in New York City and is led by CEO Nick Turner. While revenue and user counts were not disclosed, the company’s latest $55 million Series B round signals significant growth investment. Streamkap provides an all-in-one application experience with high-quality connectors, serverless scaling, and end-to-end monitoring, avoiding the complexity of managed Kafka infrastructure. The product emphasizes ease of use and deployment as a "set and forget" solution that reduces time to production and total cost of ownership. Customers using Streamkap in production include SpotOn, Fleetio, Niche.com, BrandAlley and NALA. Near-term plans include deepening Flink-based streaming transformation capabilities, adding more connectors, and expanding engineering and sales teams.
- Exactly.ai
Participated · Seed · May 2024
Exactly.ai uses generative AI to enable artists and illustrators to train models on their own artwork so the resulting algorithm and inferences belong to the creator. The platform combines a foundational model from Picsart with Exactly.ai’s own algorithm to understand and reproduce an artist’s style. Artists have uploaded several million images to the service from about 40,000 registered users, and the company also incorporates over a million CC0 museum images into its training data. Exactly.ai charges subscription fees to commercial illustrators and positions the product to help creators scale output, sell or license work to clients such as media outlets and ad agencies. The startup was founded in 2022 by Tonia Samsonova, a former journalist who previously exited The Question to Yandex. The company says its technology increases artists’ ability to earn income, claiming illustrators can quadruple their income by using the service.
