Amber launched AmberCare, an aftermarket warranty product for Tesla Model Y, 3, S and X owners. Plans range from $40 per month to about $120 per month and cover drive units, the battery and other EV-specific components. When owners file claims Amber coordinates with qualified repair shops to source parts, arrange repairs and transport the vehicle. The company was founded in early 2023, has a team of five and a small group of customers on an early access version of AmberCare. AmberCare has launched in 10 states and the company is aiming to launch in California by the end of the year. Amber raised $3.18 million in seed funding to support the product rollout and its repair-shop and parts-sourcing operations.

Its technology leverages cryptography and distributed ledgers to combat fraud, deepfakes, and data breaches in identity management. With co-headquarters in Toronto and San Francisco, TransCrypts plans to broaden its product suite from employment credentials into health and educational records. Proceeds from its latest financing will also support scaling of its customer base, compliance with additional privacy and security standards, and team expansion—particularly at the new Toronto office. The company positions itself at the intersection of digital identity, blockchain infrastructure, and credential verification SaaS. To date it has secured $15 million in outside capital, enabling continued growth in a market increasingly focused on secure, user-controlled identity solutions.

The company plans to use new funding to expand coverage of alternative assets including collectables, sports memorabilia and NFTs, and to offer a full suite of retirement accounts with both traditional and alternative-asset IRAs. Roadmap items also include an investment-rewards credit card that would let bank and credit-union customers earn points redeemable for investable assets like crypto, stocks and gold. The company was founded in 2019 and is led by CEO Ben Soppitt and CTO Ed Cortis.
