- Global Trust Networks
Participated · Equity · Jul 2026
Global Trust Networks offers comprehensive support for foreigners from pre-arrival through settlement and success, operating a multilingual support center (up to 25 languages, with hours varying by service) that handles housing, employment, communication and financial needs. The company supports not only individuals but also companies, municipalities and schools that recruit or accept foreign residents. A key feature is its rent guarantee business and associated risk-management capabilities—credit screening, examination and debt management—which GTN leverages to expand financial access for foreigners. GTN reports a cumulative user and supporter base exceeding 700,000 and handles over 200,000 lifestyle consultations annually. The company intends to develop a cross-functional platform using AI to provide individualized, timely support and is directing new capital toward strategic M&A and hiring product and development staff to accelerate that roadmap.
- JIZAIE
Participated · Equity · Jul 2026
Jizaie provides a real-time remote operation and automation platform called JIZAIPAD for industries including construction, manufacturing, and logistics. The company offers remote video, AI analysis, and remote control technologies and emphasizes video compression and transmission that performs well in unstable network environments. Jizaie’s mission is to enable people to see, judge, and act on industrial sites without physical presence. It originated from the University of Tokyo’s Inami Lab and is led by CEO Junki Nakagawa. Current plans highlighted by the company include further development of AI video analysis, AI agents for decision support, and advancing remote control and automation for machinery and robots. Jizaie aims to strengthen regional alliances across Japan and expand its product development and business development teams.
- Smooth
Participated · Series B · Dec 2025
Smooth operates a fintech platform that breaks up the hefty upfront costs of renting—such as security deposits, key money, and brokerage fees—into manageable installment payments. The service is delivered via LINE and features an AI-driven credit screening that can render a decision in as little as 15 seconds. It is popular with cash-constrained customers like new graduates and job-changers, and had more than 430,000 LINE registrants as of December 2025. Real-estate agencies benefit because the product reduces tenant drop-off and boosts contract conversion, leading to a three-fold year-over-year increase in participating stores nationwide. Smooth monetizes by financing the initial rental outlays and recouping them over time from users, and it is now expanding its product suite to adjacent financial services. The fresh capital will fund product enhancements, operational scale-up, and further development of new financial offerings. The company is also exploring diversified financing structures to support the growing volume of upfront rental advances.
- Tenchijin
Participated · Series B · Sep 2025
Tenchijin merges satellite big data with proprietary AI algorithms to deliver insights that make invisible ground-level risks and value visible. Its core product, the water-utility digital-transformation service “Uchū Suidokyoku,” launched in April 2023 and has already been adopted by numerous municipalities, surpassing 50 cumulative contracts by September 2025. Beyond water infrastructure, the company is extending its technology stack to agriculture and renewable-energy applications and is even developing its own satellites to build an end-to-end data platform. The newly raised funds will be directed toward hiring engineers, enhancing satellite-data analysis and water-resource-monitoring algorithms, expanding domestic and international sales networks, and strengthening its multi-satellite cloud data infrastructure. Branding and market-awareness initiatives are also planned. Headquartered in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi district, Tenchijin positions its mission as “optimizing human civilization through space big data.” Including the latest round, its total funding—equity and debt—now stands at roughly ¥1.9 billion.
- ZABoooN
Participated · Series A · Aug 2024
ザブーン develops and operates MARITIME 7, a ship-management SaaS designed for domestic coastal and ocean-going vessels. The platform covers crew labor management, voyage/operation management, and order/ procurement workflows and works offline in vessels with no Wi‑Fi or poor connectivity. The initial product was released in 2022 and, since then, more than 6,000 seafarers have used the system. The company said it will use the latest funding to accelerate adoption in the Setouchi region through partnerships with regional bank capitals, and to strengthen overseas expansion and collaboration in adjacent maritime-industry areas. It also plans to accelerate global expansion, organizational strengthening, and improvements to user experience. As of this round, the company has a cumulative funding total of ¥600M.
