- L&F
Participated · Series A · Jul 2026
L&F operates the "日本空き家サポート" brand, a nationwide vacant-house management network with 257加盟店 (partner shops) across Japan, and provides services including vacant-house sales support, AI-based valuation (KASHI家), and a family-trust consultation network. The company develops its own web applications and an owner web app (オーナーズクラウド) to combine real-world partner networks with IT capabilities. L&F also offers family-trust advisory services under the "家族信託の相談窓口" brand to address issues like asset freeze due to dementia. Founded in 2007 and based in Chiba City, the company positions itself as a social-impact business targeting challenges of an aging society and complex vacant-house ownership. Recent fundraising will be used to expand hiring, advance AI-enabled services and UI/UX, invest in vacant-house regeneration projects, and deepen partnerships with financial institutions and local governments.
- Ms.Engineer
Participated · Series A · Oct 2025
Ms.Engineer operates a proprietary eight-month online bootcamp that upskills women into advanced AI/IT talent, boasting a 95 % graduation rate and over 90 % job-placement rate. The company’s mission is to close Japan’s gender wage gap by enabling economic independence for women, particularly in regional areas. Beyond education, it deploys its graduates in “DAIVE,” a near-shore, fully remote AI development team that supports digital transformation projects nationwide. The newly raised capital will accelerate the nationwide rollout of its training program, strengthen the DAIVE development business, and fund additional engineering and business hires. Ms.Engineer also develops and offers AI agent products, expanding its revenue streams beyond education services. Following the latest financing, the company’s cumulative funding now totals roughly ¥650 million, giving it additional runway for growth initiatives. While revenue figures were not disclosed, the strong bootcamp performance metrics highlight early traction and market demand.
- Tenchijin
Participated · Series B · Sep 2025
Tenchijin merges satellite big data with proprietary AI algorithms to deliver insights that make invisible ground-level risks and value visible. Its core product, the water-utility digital-transformation service “Uchū Suidokyoku,” launched in April 2023 and has already been adopted by numerous municipalities, surpassing 50 cumulative contracts by September 2025. Beyond water infrastructure, the company is extending its technology stack to agriculture and renewable-energy applications and is even developing its own satellites to build an end-to-end data platform. The newly raised funds will be directed toward hiring engineers, enhancing satellite-data analysis and water-resource-monitoring algorithms, expanding domestic and international sales networks, and strengthening its multi-satellite cloud data infrastructure. Branding and market-awareness initiatives are also planned. Headquartered in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi district, Tenchijin positions its mission as “optimizing human civilization through space big data.” Including the latest round, its total funding—equity and debt—now stands at roughly ¥1.9 billion.
- YeLL
Participated · Series B · Jun 2024
エール offers external online 1on1 services and related training products (YeLL聴くトレ, YeLLキャリトレ, YeLLフィールド) that pair employees with outside supporters to improve listening, career thinking, and on-the-job practice. The company recently renamed and expanded its product lineup from two to three offerings and cut per-user pricing from ¥20,000/month to ¥10,000/month (tax excluded) to enable large-scale corporate adoption. Its service has been implemented in 273 organizations and uses a pool of over 3,500 supporters; cumulative 1on1 session volume is approaching 100,000 and users grew roughly 280% over three years since the January 2021 Series A. エール emphasizes repeated training plus practice and online learning content to embed listening as organizational culture. The company plans to accelerate large-scale enterprise deployment, expand the supporter base and its online learning offerings, and scale its organizational-impact model. Financially, the company completed a Series B raise of ¥320 million, bringing cumulative fundraising to ¥520 million. Analysis of 4,015 participants' sessions showed behavioral change for about 80% of people, which the company cites as evidence of impact.
- YAMAP
Participated · Series D · May 2024
YAMAP launched its service in 2013 and operates a smartphone‑based outdoor platform focused on mountaineering and other outdoor activities. Its flagship app displays current location and routes using GPS even where cellular service is unavailable, and includes off‑route alerts and location‑sharing functions to enhance user safety. The company recently completed a Series D financing that amounted to ¥2.04 billion (20.4億円) and includes debt. YAMAP has established a wholly owned insurance subsidiary, YAMAP Naturelance Insurance (ネイチャランス損保), to develop insurance products that leverage the platform's accumulated big data. Initial products include an outdoor leisure policy with witness‑information collection and an outdoor household/gear policy; YAMAP will sell these as an insurance agent starting May 28 and will allocate part of the proceeds to mountain rescue and accident‑prevention activities. The company is developing telematics, dynamic‑pricing insurance based on user behavior data targeting summer 2024 and aims to use accumulated accident data to reduce outdoor accidents and build a proprietary insurtech offering. Sefuri operates Yamap, a mobile app that provides offline location tracking and a social platform for mountain climbers and hikers. Since its March 2013 launch the app has recorded 260,000 downloads, 160,000 registered users, 2.2 million photos and 9 million monthly page views. The company has expanded services to include an insurance service for hikers, Yamap Geers (a price-comparison site for outdoor gear), and Hyakkei (an online outdoor media site). It has partnered with camera manufacturers and had the app pre-installed on Kyocera’s Torque smartphone and Casio’s WSD-F10 smartwatch, and worked with Olympus on outdoor camera accessories. Sefuri is conducting a field test in Niseko offering offline maps and has posted more than 400 English-language updates from domestic and inbound visitors. Management says the newly raised funds will be used to operate the business while the team focuses on improving services rather than pursuing profitability for at least a year, and plans to add gamified, geolocation-based features (stickers for summits, Streetpass-like communication) with support from Colopl.
