  Maggu AI has built a real-time decision-support platform that taps a knowledge base of 1.6 million pharmacy products to guide counter attendants during customer interactions. The system embeds directly into pharmacy management software, supplying instant dosage, usage, and contraindication information that most non-pharmacist attendants cannot recall on their own. Over the past year the company’s client base grew about twenty-fold and its technology is now deployed in roughly 17,500 pharmacies, with 2,200 stores actively using the tool and the remainder in technical rollout. Management aims to accelerate onboarding from 500 to 2,000 new pharmacies per month by year-end and targets nearly 30,000 active locations by 2027, equal to 30 % of Brazil’s pharmacy retail market. Early traction has been strongest with small and midsize pharmacies, and the team is now in advanced talks with major national chains expected to close within 30–60 days. Looking forward, Maggu plans to raise a Series A later this year, continue enhancing its AI capabilities, and pursue Latin-American expansion beginning with a pilot in Mexico as early as late 2025. The founding team previously built and exited multiple startups, a track record that has helped secure customers and investor confidence.
