- Memed
Led · Equity · May 2026
Memed offers electronic prescription software and positions itself as an infrastructure platform for digitalizing clinical workflows. The company is incorporating AI centrally into the prescription act to deliver context on drug interactions, patient-tailored dosing and clinical alerts at the point of prescribing. Management plans include launching new AI-driven prescription features, expanding integrations with electronic health records and hospital systems, and deepening its structured clinical data layer. Memed reached breakeven in June 2025, is currently profitable, and projects R$100 million in revenue for 2026. CEO Rodolfo Chung has shifted the company toward monetization opportunities with the pharmaceutical industry while pursuing broader clinical-product expansion and longer-term ambitions to become a unicorn within four to five years and maintain runway toward a potential IPO.
- Maggu
Led · Seed · Mar 2026
Maggu AI has built a real-time decision-support platform that taps a knowledge base of 1.6 million pharmacy products to guide counter attendants during customer interactions. The system embeds directly into pharmacy management software, supplying instant dosage, usage, and contraindication information that most non-pharmacist attendants cannot recall on their own. Over the past year the company’s client base grew about twenty-fold and its technology is now deployed in roughly 17,500 pharmacies, with 2,200 stores actively using the tool and the remainder in technical rollout. Management aims to accelerate onboarding from 500 to 2,000 new pharmacies per month by year-end and targets nearly 30,000 active locations by 2027, equal to 30 % of Brazil’s pharmacy retail market. Early traction has been strongest with small and midsize pharmacies, and the team is now in advanced talks with major national chains expected to close within 30–60 days. Looking forward, Maggu plans to raise a Series A later this year, continue enhancing its AI capabilities, and pursue Latin-American expansion beginning with a pilot in Mexico as early as late 2025. The founding team previously built and exited multiple startups, a track record that has helped secure customers and investor confidence.
- Takeat
Led · Series A · Feb 2026
Takeat provides a cloud-based, all-in-one platform that unifies front- and back-of-house operations for restaurants while embedding educational content to teach owners about margins, cash flow, and recurring revenue. Instead of relying on manual processes, merchants use Takeat to track key indicators and make informed decisions that boost profitability. The company positions its solution as a way to give time back to owners by eliminating operational friction, thereby converting saved hours into better leadership and higher earnings. A newly announced partnership with Marcelo Marani, founder of Donos de Restaurantes, will bring Takeat’s software to Marani’s existing network and make him an ambassador for the brand. Going forward, the firm plans to scale distribution through this channel and continue enhancing its data and process-integration features. Proceeds from the recent financing will fund platform expansion and further initiatives aimed at professionalizing small and medium food-retail businesses. Although specific revenue or user figures were not disclosed, the Series A raise signals investor confidence in Takeat’s growth trajectory.
