    AIsphere develops multimodal video large models and related products, including the consumer-facing PixVerse (for overseas markets) and PaiWo AI (for domestic users). The company launched its real-time world model PixVerse R1 in January 2026, which supports 1080p real-time generation and on-the-fly video edits via natural language, and released PixVerse Game in July 2026 to apply real-time video generation to interactive entertainment. AIsphere reports that PixVerse has accumulated over 150 million global users and its PixVerse V6 model ranks on international benchmarks for text-to-video and image-to-video. Commercial partnerships and pilots include collaborations with Mango Media and enterprise partners such as Alibaba, Giant Group, China Ruiyi, BlueFocus and 37 Interactive Entertainment across short drama, animation, variety, promotional assets, interactive games and multilingual content. Financially, the company has completed multiple financings since its 2023 founding, including a March 2026 $300M C round that valued the company at $1.0B, and most recently the ¥2.98B C+ tranche led by Alibaba to fund further R&D and global expansion.

    PixVerse develops generative video models including a V-Series for consumer/API use, a C-Series for professional film and commercial workflows, and an R-Series of world models for game development and world building. Its tool can generate videos up to 4K resolution with audio baked in, and the company reports over 150 million registered users and more than 15 million monthly active users. The startup offers image-to-video generation at a cited competitive rate of $4.80 per minute. PixVerse released its R-Series world models earlier this year and plans to launch a new V-Series model and a new world-model version within the year. The company has about 150 employees across offices in Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai and has commercial relationships including a deployment deal with investor Alibaba.

    Sound Wave Innovation is developing a therapeutic platform built around Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound (LIPUS) aimed at treating early-stage Alzheimer’s disease with its flagship LIPUS-Brain device. Exploratory clinical studies completed in 2022 reported a strong safety profile and suggested potential efficacy for patients with early-stage Alzheimer’s and mild cognitive impairment. In 2022 the LIPUS-Brain system was designated by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as the country’s first “Breakthrough Medical Device” for Alzheimer’s treatment. The company has a strategic manufacturing and commercialization partnership with Sumitomo Heavy Industries, which will oversee manufacturing and distribution while Sound Wave Innovation continues clinical development and IP licensing. Sound Wave Innovation raised about $17 million in a Series C to fund completion of a pivotal confirmatory trial expected to finish by the end of 2026. After the trial the company and its partners are targeting regulatory approval.

    Led by CEO Davide Marini and based in Medford, MA, Inkbit develops a multi-material additive manufacturing system designed for volume production of complex polymer 3D printed parts. Its Vision-Controlled Jetting (VCJ) technology combines advances in computation, chemistry and process control to scale from prototyping to production on the same platform. The system targets rapid manufacturing of innovative products such as complex industrial fluidics and bio-inspired robots. Inkbit says its platform accelerates the translation of ideas into products and enables multi-material manufacturing across development and production. The company intends to use newly raised funds to expand operations and advance development efforts. No operating metrics (revenue/users) were disclosed in the article. Inkbit develops vision-guided, closed-loop 3D printers that use imaging and AI to detect and correct printing errors on the fly. The company’s Vista printer, released in February, builds on its Vision-Controlled Jetting (VCJ) closed-loop feedback technology. Inkbit holds exclusive licensing rights to technology developed with financial support from DARPA. Founded in 2017, the firm says it is experiencing significant growth and plans to scale its team to meet customer demand. The latest funding will be used to expand sales reach in the U.S. and into additional markets including Asia and Europe/Middle East/Africa. Total funding now stands at $45 million after the current round. Inkbit developed the first 3D printer driven by vision-based feedback control and artificial intelligence, using contactless material jetting to print multi-material parts with production-grade materials. The platform adds machine vision and machine learning to material jetting to increase accuracy, reliability and automated quality assurance for every printed part. The company aims to industrialize its system for multi-material and volume manufacturing, expand its materials set for medical, life sciences and robotics applications, and install first units for customers. Inkbit has run an early access program with customers such as Johnson & Johnson and plans to release first systems in 2021 to select customers. The company was spun out of MIT CSAIL in 2017 and is based in Medford, Massachusetts. Prior and public funders include DARPA, the National Science Foundation and MassVentures.
