Founded in 2023 and based in Arrasate-Mondragón (Basque Country), Orbik Cybersecurity develops product cybersecurity and regulatory compliance solutions for industry and embedded electronics. The company operates an accredited laboratory that performs certified cybersecurity validation against standards such as IEC 62443, CRA, ISO 21434, IEC 63452, ETSI EN 303 645 and FDA requirements, and offers a cloud-based SaaS platform (myorbik.com) for end-to-end product cybersecurity management. In 2025 Orbik launched Orbik Virtual Lab, a virtual laboratory to validate, test, and certify product security in controlled digital environments. The company reported more than €2 million in revenue in 2025 and has grown its team to over 50 professionals; it converted to a hybrid worker cooperative in 2025 with support from MONDRAGON, IKERLAN and the Basque Government. Orbik plans to scale operations, invest in R&D, expand into new markets and sectors, grow the team to about 65 people, and add 100 new clients as part of its roadmap toward 2030.

  • Multiverse Computing

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2021

Founded in 2019 in San Sebastián, Multiverse Computing builds AI solutions inspired by quantum computing techniques—notably tensor-network approaches—to compress large language models and produce energy-efficient AI. The company says its technology can reduce model size and energy use by up to 95%, deliver 4x–12x faster inference, and cut costs by 50%–80%, enabling deployment on constrained devices like smartphones, laptops and satellites. Multiverse has launched a new generation of optimized models, including an open-source model and a family of compressed models designed for resource-limited environments. It has formed strategic partnerships with firms such as Cohere, Axelera AI, Plain Concepts, Inetum, EY and PwC to accelerate adoption in finance, energy, logistics, space, health and defense. Financially, Multiverse closed a €189M Series B in June 2025 (led by Bullhound Capital and including SETT and other investors) and is currently finalizing a larger round that could total €500M, backed in part by a €107M SETT commitment.
