  • Los Sundays Tequila

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2021

Løs Sundays produces premium tequila from a blend of sustainably farmed highland and lowland 100% Blue Weber Agave, distilled in a family-owned, female-run distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. Its portfolio consists of Blanco, Reposado, and a Coconut-infused Blanco, complemented by sought-after merchandise and a viral social following. The brand has earned recognition from the International SIP Awards, San Francisco World Spirits Award, and Best Tasting Spirit Awards. An all-female marketing team has driven organic growth and engagement, helping secure national distribution with Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. Established in September 2017 and headquartered in Costa Mesa, Calif., Løs Sundays is rapidly expanding—planning launches into 30 new U.S. markets and two countries in the first half of the year. The company recently closed a $3.5 million Series A to fund that expansion.

  • Looped

    Participated · Equity · Mar 2021

Looped builds an interactive livestreaming event platform used by musicians, comedians and other creators to sell virtual tickets, merchandise and premium experiences like backstage passes and virtual meet-and-greets. Creators can use Looped’s native production tools or integrate their preferred production stack to broadcast performances and host co-viewing or multi-person conversations. Since launching in October 2019, about 300,000 people have bought virtual tickets to events led by roughly 1,000 creators, including high-profile acts and celebrities. The company has shown traction with charity and ticketed events (for example, a Hamilton cast charity event that raised over $1.1M). Looped says the new funding will be used to continue building out its technology stack as it seeks broader adoption. The company also faces market-wide challenges such as screen-exhaustion and competition from large tech platforms and other virtual-event startups, which the founders acknowledge while positioning Looped as focused on entertainment-specific product innovation.
