Dataroid’s platform has been recognised by G2 as a leading digital analytics product in the Middle East, winning “Best Support” awards for both product and customer journey analytics in 2025. The firm reported a 127 percent net revenue retention rate by the end of 2025 with zero customer or revenue churn. With fresh capital, Dataroid plans to strengthen its AI-driven, self-service analytics capabilities and accelerate go-to-market efforts across EMEA and Europe. PictorLabs develops AI-powered virtual staining software that generates digitally stained histology slides in minutes, eliminating the need for traditional toxic reagents. Its technology aims to shorten turnaround times while increasing consistency and throughput for pathology labs used in research, pharma, and clinical applications. The company was spun off from the UCLA Colleges of Engineering and Medicine and is positioned to drive the digital transformation of histopathology. PictorLabs plans to scale operations, expand market reach, and accelerate adoption of virtual staining in clinical and research settings. Financially, PictorLabs announced a $30 million Series B led by Insight Partners with continued participation from M Ventures. The company intends to use the capital to advance its technology, grow the team, and broaden commercial deployment to improve diagnostic speed and sustainability in laboratory practices. PictorLabs provides AI virtual staining technology that applies deep learning to generate near-instantaneous in silico stains from a single unstained tissue sample. Its proprietary platform can produce an unlimited number of virtual stains indistinguishable from analogous chemical stains. The company is developing products that replicate standard-of-care stains and specialized virtual biomarker stains for indications with high demand for accelerated diagnostics. PictorLabs intends to expand its biomarker portfolio, develop novel products, grow its talent base, and build out its corporate infrastructure with the new funding. It established a partnership with Charles River Laboratories to reduce water consumption and chemical waste by adopting virtual staining as part of sustainability initiatives. Founded in 2019 and based in Los Angeles, the company aims to accelerate clinical research and improve patient outcomes through its technology.

CY Vision develops software-based holographic display technology that produces full-color 3D augmented-reality visuals across a wide range of lighting and virtual distances. The company’s displays are designed to function from bright sunlight to dark stormy conditions and project virtual objects from in-cabin distances to infinity. Led by CEO Orkun Oguz, CY Vision focuses on automotive AR HUD systems that present navigation cues, hazard and lane warnings, and virtual assistance across the driver’s field of view. The newly raised capital supports the launch of the company’s production 3D AR HUD systems. The company is based in San Jose, California and Istanbul, Turkey. Financially, the company announced an additional $5M in funding in July 2020. CY Vision is a vision systems and applications company based in Silicon Valley that develops computational holographic display technology for AR and VR head-worn displays. Its patent-protected computational holographic technology, combined with pupil tracking, is designed to mimic natural eye/brain function and present true 3D information with full visual depth cues. The company says this approach aims to improve visual comfort and enable safer, more comfortable long-term viewing for AR/VR users. CY Vision was established as a spinoff from a Koc University lab in 2016 and was co-founded by optics and MEMS professor Hakan Urey and CEO Orkun Oguz. The company plans to use its recent funding to further develop the technology and help accelerate AR and VR adoption for enterprises and consumers. CY Vision recently completed a Series A funding round totaling $7 million.

nanoGriptech produces gecko-inspired micro-structured dry adhesives and surfaces for applications including wearable consumer products, semiconductor and glass handling, and automotive upholstery fastening. Its product family includes Setex Gecko Grip, Setex Gecko Tape and Setex Ultra‑Thin Fastener. Earlier in the year the company introduced an anti-slip microstructured nose pad for eyewear made with Setex Gecko Grip, sold exclusively through Amazon. The company is led by founder Metin Sitti and CEO Nicholas Kuhn and was spun out of Carnegie Mellon University in 2012. It occupies 6,000 square feet in a former chocolate factory in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood. Prior support includes SBIR/STTR grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense, plus assistance from the PA NanoMaterials Commercialization Center and private investors. The company will use the new funds to scale manufacturing operations and strengthen commercialization activities.
