    Novatron Fusion is a nuclear fusion company focused on energy production and fast-tracking the transition to commercial fusion power. Founded by Erik Odén and led by CEO Peter Roos, the company has assembled its fusion solution and completed system integration testing. Its technology aims to streamline the fusion energy process and reduce capital and operational costs of future fusion reactors through a series of USPs. The company raised €10M in a Series A1 round and intends to use the funds to expand operations and accelerate development efforts. Investors in the round include lead backer St1 alongside new and existing investors. Novatron is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and is advancing development toward commercial fusion deployment. Novatron Fusion Group develops the world’s only stable mirror-machine fusion concept, targeting reduced capital and operational costs for future reactors. In 2019 the company was founded and is headquartered in Stockholm. It has launched the Tau‑E Breakthrough (TauEB) project to address plasma confinement by improving the plasma energy confinement time (τE) by over a hundred times.     Cellfion develops pioneering biobased membranes made from cellulose nanofibrils extracted from wood, targeting energy storage and conversion devices such as Redox Flow Batteries and fuel cells. The technology stems from a decade of research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Linköping University and RISE in Sweden. The company emphasizes sustainability and cost-effectiveness by using abundant forest-derived materials and avoiding toxic PFAS-based substances. Cellfion was established last year and is led by CEO Liam Hardey. The startup has just secured €1.3 million in seed funding to advance development toward scalable manufacturing. With the new capital it plans to expand its team, begin rapid prototyping with customers and partners, and work toward bringing its first product to market.
