Sencure has developed an ultra-low-power biometric sensing chip and a library of signal-processing algorithms for medical monitoring and diagnostics, which it can license as IP. The chip targets wearable biometric solutions across cardiac monitoring, COPD, children’s asthma, neurological cases, EEG recordings, ICU-grade ventilation, vital-sign monitoring, COVID-19 symptom monitoring, athletic training/rehabilitation, and general stress/activity tracking. The technology reflects five years of R&D and is described by the company and investors as outperforming current medical chips on price and quality, with competitive advantages in much lower power consumption and smaller size. Sencure also develops textile-integrated medical wearables aimed at maximizing patient comfort in real-life monitoring situations.
