- TerraFirma
Participated · Series A · Jul 2026
Founded in 2024 by former SpaceX engineers Noah Schochet and Noah McGuinness, TerraFirma builds a full-stack platform that combines AI-enabled pre-construction software, a remote command-and-control center, and retrofitted semi-autonomous heavy machinery for earthworks and site operations. The company's systems let skilled operators orchestrate fleets from screens, which TerraFirma says can make each operator up to 300% more effective. TerraFirma is executing commercial projects including site preparation, excavation, and grading for a Starbucks in North Austin, a sports arena in Spicewood, and a power substation in New Braunfels, and it is working with the U.S. government on international infrastructure and logistics projects. The company is vertically integrated, building and using its own robotics and software in the field while keeping operators at the center. TerraFirma has stated a long-term ambition to extend its construction technology to lunar and Martian projects as well as scale on Earth. Financially, TerraFirma announced approximately $115 million in new capital, including a $100 million Series A, to expand engineering, manufacturing, operations, and continued development of its semi-autonomous equipment.
- Hydra Host
Participated · Series A · Jun 2026
Founded in 2021, Hydra Host began by serving cryptocurrency miners and has pivoted to offer automation software for data center operators and an AI server brokerage platform. The company enables operators to rent out idle NVIDIA AI server computing power and runs a GPU matching marketplace connecting GPU owners with renters. As of the latest reports, Hydra Host has deployed its technology in 50 data centers worldwide, up from 30 earlier in the year. The company completed a $100 million project funding round led by Kindred Ventures that values it at close to $800 million post-money, with participation from Nvidia, ARK Invest, Magnetar Capital, Founders Fund, and Flume Ventures. The articles do not report revenue, user, or other operating metrics beyond data center deployments.
- TensorWave
Led · Series B · Jun 2026
TensorWave operates an all-AMD AI cloud focused on high-performance, memory-intensive workloads, delivering high-bandwidth, memory-optimized infrastructure powered by AMD Instinct series GPUs. The company currently runs one of the largest AMD-based AI training clusters in North America with 8,192 AMD Instinct MI325X GPUs online. TensorWave has secured more than 2 gigawatts of long-term data center capacity to support growing adoption from enterprise, research, and AI-native customers. Following a Series A in May 2025, TensorWave completed a $350 million Series B at a $1.55 billion valuation to fund global expansion and next-generation MI355X GPU deployments. The company is investing in its Las Vegas headquarters and plans to expand hiring across engineering, infrastructure, operations, sales, and customer success. Customers mentioned include next-generation AI companies such as Fireworks AI and Luma AI, which are using TensorWave’s AMD-based infrastructure for large-scale generative AI workloads and production inference.
- Turion Space
Participated · Series B · Apr 2026
Turion Space develops integrated spacecraft, sensors, and software—including DROID maneuverable satellites and the Starfire operating system—to provide orbital intelligence and operations from LEO to GEO. The company is the first NOAA-licensed commercial provider of resolved non-Earth imaging in the U.S. and reports its initial two missions have delivered over 40,000 images. Turion has been awarded 28 U.S. government contracts and says it has a multi-billion-dollar pipeline across customers including NASA, the U.S. Space Force, the Space Development Agency, and the NRO. It employs roughly 200 people at its Irvine, California headquarters. Turion plans to scale manufacturing throughput from 8 to 40 spacecraft per year, expand continuous observation and non-Earth imaging capabilities, and scale Starfire for larger, automated multi-satellite operations. The company announced a $75+ million Series B to fund those growth initiatives and fleet proliferation.
- Homebound
Participated · Equity · Dec 2025
Founded in 2018, Homebound digitizes the entire home-building process, allowing customers in markets such as Denver, Dallas, and Houston to choose a lot, floor plan, and finishes online and then check out as easily as buying any other e-commerce product. The platform creates a real-time 'digital twin' of each house, giving buyers progress updates and AI-driven inspection reports while enabling precise materials ordering that reduces waste. Behind the scenes, Homebound’s supply-chain software replaces the traditional, error-prone lumber-yard estimates with exact bills of materials. Since its $75 million Series C in 2022, the company has secured an additional $400 million—$100 million in operating-company equity and $300 million in real-estate capital—to scale its model. Backers include Goldman Sachs, Magnetar, Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, GV, Fifth Wall, Atomic, Forerunner, Neuberger Berman, and Bridgepoint. CEO and co-founder Nikki Pechet says Homebound aims to open its end-to-end platform to third-party builders and ultimately compete with the nation’s largest homebuilders. Management projects the business will reach profitability by the end of 2026, positioning the company to become the “Amazon of homes.”
