- Birdsview
Participated · Equity · Aug 2026
Birdsview develops a platform that combines ground-penetrating radar, LiDAR and proprietary algorithms to turn sensor data into 3D models showing rebar position, thickness, cracks, voids and corrosion without drilling. The company launched its first concrete product in January 2025 and after beginning direct pre-sales in March 2026 customers in nine countries adopted the system within weeks. Birdsview started by building sensors to detect rot in wooden utility poles and expanded the approach to concrete; it was founded by Olav Skogen and Simen Husøy while students in Trondheim. The company operates from Bergen and Oslo and has 14 employees. Since launch it has scanned over 100 structures and counts clients such as Vinci, Bouygues Construction, EllisDon, Sweco, Asplan Viak and Rambøll. Customer examples include a Bergen contractor that used Birdsview to map rebar under a basement, saving about 200,000 NOK and two weeks of work.
- TheStorage
Participated · Seed · Apr 2026
TheStorage develops a sand-based thermal energy storage system that stores and releases heat to help industrial operators electrify heat processes and integrate renewable electricity. Its technology aims to reduce energy costs and emissions compared with fossil-based heat systems while enabling participation in electricity market and grid balancing opportunities. The company emphasizes high-efficiency heat transfer and integration with existing industrial processes. TheStorage recently raised €3.6 million in a seed round to accelerate commercialisation, expand its team, and continue technology development. Leadership includes CEO and co-founder Timo Siukkola, who has cited strong industrial interest in thermal energy storage. The company plans to scale its solution globally as industries seek to decarbonise heat and improve energy flexibility.
- Photoncycle
Participated · Series A · Mar 2026
Photoncycle is developing a distributed, solid-state hydrogen energy storage system that converts surplus summer solar electricity into hydrogen stored underground and later releases it as heat and power during winter. The technology is aimed at households and small businesses, closing the critical seasonal storage gap that short-duration batteries cannot solve. Photoncycle plans to offer the solution via a subscription bundle that includes solar panels, the storage unit, servicing, and access to energy-trading markets, reducing upfront costs for consumers. At full industrial scale, its proposed 1.4 TWh annual manufacturing facility could equip roughly 140,000 homes with 10 MWh of seasonal storage each. Initial commercial rollout is planned for Denmark and the Netherlands, with longer-term expansion opportunities identified in Japan and the United States. The company recently secured €15 million in Series A funding to finance these initiatives and the first phase of its industrialisation plan.
- Marketecture Media
Participated · Seed · Jan 2026
Founded in 2022, Marketecture Media began as a niche podcast producer and has expanded into a multifaceted business-to-business platform spanning podcasts, newsletters, video series, online communities and live conferences. Its content portfolio includes "The Marketecture Podcast," “AdTechGod,” and newsletters such as “The Refresh,” “Monopoly Report,” and “Marketecture.” To deepen its coverage and audience reach, the company completed six acquisitions in 2025, adding assets like Adland.tv’s archive of TV spots and the Serial Marketers community. Marketecture also runs the AI Marketers Guild community and offers the AI-powered news reader Maddb.ai, underscoring its focus on emerging technologies. Live events are a growing pillar: after two sold-out Marketecture Live conferences, the firm expects roughly 1,000 professionals at Marketecture Live III in March 2026, produced with Adweek and TVREV. Revenue and user figures were not disclosed, but the firm cites a “rare combination of high-quality content, industry expertise, and human connection” as its value proposition. Its new capital will support further organic growth and additional acquisitions.
- Enerin
Participated · Series A · Nov 2025
Enerin is a technology company focused on replacing fossil-fuel industrial boilers with high-temperature heat pumps capable of delivering process heat up to 250 °C. Its flagship HoegTemp system is modular, flexible and able to integrate with existing industrial energy infrastructures while providing near-constant thermal output independent of waste-heat profiles and steam pressures. By installing an Enerin unit, an industrial site can avoid roughly 36,000 t of CO₂ emissions over the equipment’s lifetime, offering a meaningful pathway to lower carbon costs and meet decarbonization targets. The company positions its technology as filling the critical gap in sustainable steam and high-grade heat production, which today accounts for more than 20 % of global CO₂ emissions. Proceeds from the latest financing will be used to industrialize the product, scale manufacturing capacity and broaden the product range. Enerin has attracted a diverse set of European climate-tech and strategic investors through its multi-tranche Series A round, underscoring growing market demand for industrial heat electrification solutions.
