TREX20 is a Bitcoin gaming ecosystem project that leverages NFT Inscriptions built on the Bitcoin protocol to enhance gameplay. Its core product centers on using Bitcoin‑protocol NFTs (Inscriptions) to elevate game mechanics and user experiences. On March 21, 2024, TREX20 announced completion of a $1.0 million financing described as a strategic investment. Named participants in the round include Normie Capital, Marshland Capital, Moonrock Capital, Oddiyana Ventures, TripleGemCapital, NxGen.xyz, X21 Capital and Nabais Capital. Tritum develops trading, liquidity and exchange infrastructure for digital assets through its operating businesses Blocktane (a global crypto exchange) and Vesi (a high-frequency proprietary trader and liquidity provider). The company closed a $1.1M seed round in early 2022 and is a team of more than 10 people led by former electronic market-making and exchange leaders from Nasdaq, TMX, banks and HFTs. Blocktane has grown to over 250,000 users since launching its platform token BKT in June 2021 and is preparing a liquidity mining program to reward traders from a long-term BKT rewards pool. Blocktane recently integrated with Layerswap to enable direct withdrawals to Loopring and other Ethereum Layer-2 networks. Vesi connects to over 30 exchanges and provides market making on both order-book CEXs and DEXs, including contracted market-making services. Tritum plans to expand throughput and scale across its businesses and to launch products in data, insights, trading product issuance based on its indices and strategies, as well as offerings in credit, custody, web3 data and complex derivatives.

KnitFinance is the first Polkadot-based cross-chain wrapped protocol that brings multiple assets to every compatible blockchain network. It enables real-world insured wrapped tokens so digital and lockable assets can be stacked for yield, lent, borrowed, margin traded, and farmed. KnitFinance locks assets with custodians that are insured up to $350 million, aiming to bring real-world insurance into DeFi and unlock large pools of idle assets. The beta version has been live since December and already supports wrapped assets on five chains; the project says 30 additional renowned projects have partnered and will announce partnerships soon. The team is preparing for a Dao Maker SHO on May 17 and plans to list Knit tokens on top-tier centralized exchanges including Binance, Huobi Global, OKEx, KuCoin, and Gate.io. Knit raised $1 million in its latest fundraising round and says investors are helping bootstrap liquidity on Uniswap and support global and regional marketing efforts.

TotemFi is a staking-based decentralized finance (DeFi) prediction protocol that offers individual and collective prediction markets on asset price movements and broader events. The platform combines high-yield staking pools with BTC and native token rewards to incentivize accurate forecasts. TotemFi completed a strategic sale as part of a wider fundraising plan and was incubated by DuckDAO. The project has a $777K fundraising cap that includes seed, private and public sale tranches. The team is led by CEO Jolyon Layard-Horsfall and CMO Harry Horsfall. TotemFi’s decentralized app (dApp) is scheduled to launch early in 2021.
