Overview

We are neoteq ventures. As an earlystage VC based in Cologne, we support founding teams from the very beginning in building companies that change industries. Digitalization is changing entire markets. We are convinced that the accompanying change opens up countless opportunities for exciting business models and companies. As an early-stage VC with a clear tech focus, we invest in companies from the (pre-)seed stage to Series A that are able to solve a relevant customer problem with their product, regardless of their industry, and have the potential to become market leaders in their market segment. We invest throughout Germany with a focus on the Rhineland.

Wakeline builds an architecture that integrates learning and deployment into a single continuous process, enabling AI systems to learn and adapt in real time rather than via periodic retraining. Its design is inspired by biological learning principles and is intended to operate independently of proprietary models and hyperscale cloud infrastructure. Wakeline was founded in 2025 by Tim Gülke, Jan Böggering, Simon Sprünker and Merten Tiedemann and is based in Düsseldorf. • OMMM

    Led · Seed · Sep 2025

OMMM Operations Management Solutions GmbH, founded in 2019 in Leverkusen, delivers an AI-based planning suite that automates and optimises production processes for the process industry, with an initial focus on food manufacturing. The platform cuts changeover and cleaning costs, lowers energy and raw-material consumption, and reduces planning effort while boosting forecast accuracy, service levels and inventory efficiency. Oliver Wyman studies suggest such AI tools can shrink planning workloads by up to 40 % and halve error rates. Already profitable, OMMM intends to enlarge its R&D and customer-implementation teams. The company will expand from its current customer base into additional food verticals such as dairy and meat processing, and further develop modules for Demand & Business Planning and Supply-Chain Analytics. It also plans to build international implementation capacity through partner networks.

Its flagship solution, branded ‘PCR to Go’, is a mobile molecular biology diagnostics system intended for on-site use and able to detect a wide range of pathogens in a very short time. Detechgene positions the product to combine PCR-level precision with the ease of a rapid antigen test. The firm says this technology opens market opportunities for customised testing solutions and aims to make laboratory diagnostics fast, mobile and accessible to everyone. Detechgene completed a financing round to advance development and deployment of its mobile diagnostics offering.
