- Alice Mushrooms
Led · Series A · Sep 2025
Alice Mushrooms makes functional chocolate bars formulated for specific effects—sleep, focus, arousal and social elevation—with its best-selling sleep product that does not contain melatonin. Ingredients include organic Lion’s Mane, organic Cordyceps extracts, Ashwagandha and Reishi. The brand launched a social-elevation SKU called Party Trick and plans nightclub-related chocolate bottle service in Los Angeles to position the product as an alcohol alternative. Distribution currently includes Erewhon, Pop Up Grocer and other specialty retailers, and the company has run collaborations such as with Fleur du Mal. In its first 12 months of business the company generated seven-figure revenue, and the founders anticipate 40% year-over-year growth to reach eight-figure top-line revenue this year. The team expects wholesale retail sales to grow 250% year-over-year in 2025 and is prioritizing new product development and upcoming wholesale expansion into 1,300 doors across two undisclosed chains.
- Greyson Clothiers
Led · Series A · Feb 2025
Greyson Clothiers is a Detroit-based premium lifestyle apparel brand that blends sport and luxury, offering men's, women's, and youth lines designed with technical properties for everyday performance. Founded in 2015, the company leverages design experience to create elevated pieces integrating golf, racquet, fitness, and daily routines. Greyson has recently expanded into womenswear and grown its retail presence into Denver, West Palm Beach, New York, New Orleans, and Atlanta. The brand sells via e-commerce, brick-and-mortar, wholesale partnerships and reports more than 2,500 points of distribution globally. Greyson emphasizes community-driven storytelling and values-based positioning as part of its go-to-market. The company completed a $20 million Series A to support international expansion, additional stores, direct-to-consumer channels, and wholesale growth.
- Explorer Cold Brew
Led · Seed · Jan 2023
Explorer produces concentrated coffee and cold-brew products—roasted, brewed and bottled via a third-party manufacturer in Texas—using organic, fair-trade, specialty-grade beans and a proprietary process that yields shelf-stable bottles. Its core SKUs span four caffeine levels from decaf to an "extra" that the company says is equivalent to 3.5 shots of espresso; recent additions include a cold-brew four-pack gift box, functional elixirs, and a 16-ounce chai concentrate. The brand was created by mountaineer and former Bain consultant Cason Crane during the pandemic and touts strong direct-to-consumer unit economics because concentrates pack more servings per bottle and ship with lower carbon footprints. Explorer reports e-commerce revenue growth of more than 1,400% last year and currently derives roughly 70% of sales from e-commerce and 30% from hospitality, wholesale and B2B, including a distribution partnership with Delta Air Lines on coast-to-coast and long-haul Honolulu flights. The company plans to strengthen its Delta partnership, launch a refreshed retail look to coincide with a retail rollout, and grow natural and specialty retail so its growth rate matches e-commerce by the end of next year. Management positions the product to stand out against larger and newer competitors by emphasizing top-shelf ingredients, the concentrated format, and multiple caffeine-level SKUs.
- StellarAlgo
Participated · Series A · Nov 2021
StellarAlgo offers a customer cloud platform and flagship Customer Data Platform (CDP) underpinned by a modern data warehouse, serving sports, entertainment and live audience organizations. Its proprietary machine‑learning models are trained on over 40 billion interaction data points across more than 100 million unique records. The platform helps teams, leagues, sponsors and live-event properties monetize live audiences through insights-driven sales, marketing and analytics capabilities. StellarAlgo serves customers in North America and Europe and plans to expand commercial partnerships with brands supporting teams and leagues. The company intends to use new capital to continue growth of its cloud-based solutions and to extend its presence by opening headquarters in the United States and Europe. Financially, StellarAlgo completed a $16.5M Series A and has raised $19.0M to date. StellarAlgo offers a SaaS customer data platform that integrates online and in‑person sources (ticketing, email, etc.), builds fan profiles, and uses machine learning to help teams and live-audience businesses segment and personalize outreach. The company was founded in 2016 and operates with a team of about 25. It works with more than 50 customers, including the Vancouver Canucks, LA Kings, LA Galaxy, Vegas Golden Knights, and Portland Trail Blazers, and reported 180% year‑over‑year growth in 2019. COVID‑19 paused much live‑event activity and slowed new customer acquisition, but StellarAlgo says it has not lost any customers and signed additional MLB and NHL teams during the pandemic. The startup offered payment deferrals to customers, cut five mainly sales/marketing roles (about 16% of the team), and received the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy to retain staff. Plans for the new funding include doubling down on platform development and automation, expanding integrations with brand partners and sponsors, and hiring in sales, marketing, and customer success, with potential geographic expansion interest from Europe and Australia. StellarAlgo offers a proprietary customer data platform and machine learning-powered notification system (StellarMoments™) that helps sports franchises and live-entertainment organizations collect, organize, and act on fan data to optimize pricing, retention, and customer acquisition. The platform is used by professional teams and events including the Portland Trail Blazers, the Vancouver Canucks, the LA Galaxy, the US Open Tennis, and clients in live entertainment such as MoPOP. The company’s algorithms drive predictive insights and real-time prioritization so customers can connect with fans at the right time and generate ROI in revenue and engagement. StellarAlgo says the new capital will allow it to scale its sales and growth strategy and significantly expand its existing client base of professional sports teams and entertainment organizations. The firm plans to extend its advanced analytics offerings to include better predictive modelling and forecasting of ticket sales opportunities. The company was founded by Vincent Ircandia, who previously led customer data teams at AEG Sports, the LA Kings, and the Portland Trail Blazers.
