AssistMe develops alea, a medical device and integrated care platform that provides event-based, actionable information such as incontinence events, body signals, posture and location to support care professionals in elderly care. Alea is already in use across care homes in eight European countries, where it helps tailor care to individual needs by making otherwise hidden events visible. The company plans further product development, broader expansion across Europe, preparation for US market entry, and expansion of alea into home care. AssistMe’s leadership includes CEO Julio Brandl and CFO Alexander Meiritz, who led the company through the recent financing. The company raised €6.5 million in the announced round to fund these initiatives, backed by both new and existing investors including CRB Health Tech SGEIC and Vorwerk Ventures.
