Founded in July 2023 by Aseem Gupta and Vimal Singh Rathore, the company claims to have served over 60,000 students since its founding. With the $2 million seed round led by Y Combinator and Fundersclub, the company plans to further improve its AI-powered learning platform, expand reach, enhance user experience, and accelerate innovation in customized learning services. Other investors in the round included SuperCapital, GoodWater Capital, Nurture Ventures, Puneet Kumar, YC Partner, and Pareto Ventures. Co-founder Vimal previously founded Coursavy, which was acquired by Unacademy in September 2020.

LunaJoy Health raised $4.2M to expand its programs and operations across select communities. The company is developing a patient-centered care model designed to address the complex needs of high-risk women. Through its programs LunaJoy aims to improve maternal health care standards for Medicaid mothers. The raise was backed by a group of institutional and venture investors. LunaJoy is led by CEO Sipra Laddha and is based in St. Petersburg, FL. Leadership says the investor support, together with focus on maternal health improvements through TMaH funding, positions the company to drive needed industry change. LunaJoy was founded by psychiatrists Shama Rathi and Sipra Laddha to address gaps in mental healthcare for women. The platform delivers a one-hour biopsychosocial interview to co-create individualized treatment plans and provides personalized care plans for issues across puberty, pregnancy, and menopause. LunaJoy’s model emphasizes earlier screening, detection and preventative care to replace a reactive referral process. The company operates with a distributed team of 15 staff and 25 clinicians. LunaJoy is a Y Combinator graduate and has roots in Tampa and Atlanta. The recent seed funding will be used to expand the workforce, broaden geographic reach, and deepen health system partnerships.

The founders, Tony Tom and Jerin A Mathews, are former product managers who worked at Insent.ai and scaled products there; Insent.ai was acquired by ZoomInfo. The core team includes two engineers, Gokul G and Lakshmi K N, and a designer, Sanjay Suresh. The company plans to expand in Kerala and beyond and was recently selected to the Techstars Seattle accelerator. Produx AI secured Rs 3.2 crore in pre-seed funding from Callapina Capital, Arjun Pillai, 1.0 Ventures and Nurture Ventures.
