Pacific Catch operates a full-service, casual dining concept focused on fish and Pan Pacific cuisine, including Hawaiian, Japanese and Latin American dishes. The company operates three restaurants—two in San Francisco and one in Corte Madera. Founded in 2004 by two experienced restaurateurs, it has been expanding its footprint in California. Pacific Catch recently signed a lease for a new store slated to open in early 2011 in Campbell, California. The chain completed a $4M private equity investment to fund continued expansion and add more locations. The new capital is intended to support growth of its restaurant network.

Adina for Life is a San Francisco-based producer of natural and organic beverages, best known for its Adina Holistics product line. The company completed a $14M equity financing to support its growth. The round was led by Dallas, TX-based CIC Partners and included participation from Sherbrooke Capital, Pacific Community Ventures, Good Capital, Seraph Capital and many of Adina’s distributor partners. Adina said it will use the proceeds to bolster national distribution of its flagship Adina Holistics products. In conjunction with the financing, Roger Enrico (former Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo and Chairman of DreamWorks Animation SKG) and Michael Rawlings (managing partner at CIC Partners) will assume board positions. The company also named Norman E. Snyder as its new President and Chief Operating Officer last month.
