- HeatMap, Inc
Participated · Seed · Aug 2024
Heatmap offers an on-site analytics platform that combines revenue to every pixel on every page, enabling merchants to optimize for buyer behavior rather than site traffic. The company is led by CEO and Founder Dylan Ander and CMO Chase Mohseni. Heatmap closed a $4M Seed funding round to support growth. The proceeds will be used to drive customer acquisition and to build and launch a custom-built AI model that delivers direct recommendations for website improvements. The product focuses on translating on-site behavior into revenue insights for e-commerce websites. The company is based in New York City.
- Factored Quality
Participated · Equity · Jan 2024
Factored Quality builds software that digitizes quality control, testing, and compliance for consumer goods brands. It supports more than 100 brands, including Canopy, Dr. Squatch, and Lalo, to run QC, testing, and compliance globally. The company reports measurable customer savings, saying it helped Canopy save over $70,000 in rework and shipping costs and Halfdays save $130,000 in returns errors. Factored Quality has raised $7.1M in total funding to date, including a new $1.5M injection. Investors named include Y Combinator, Vinyl Capital, PPVP, Dynamo Ventures, BAM Ventures, Amity Ventures, and more than 40 founders in supply chain tech and eCommerce. The team says the new capital will be used to expand support and build infrastructure that eases operations for high-growth consumer goods brands. CEO Prince Ghosh framed the product as addressing a neglected but painful part of a brand’s product lifecycle.
- Siena AI
Participated · Seed · Nov 2023
Siena builds an "empathic AI" customer service platform designed to understand context, respond with empathy, and solve complex problems across email, text, social DMs, and comments. The company says its AI autonomously handles up to 80% of customer interactions in over 100 languages with a 99.7% alignment score and a 4.81 Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score. Siena reports it already resolves 80% of conversations and matches or exceeds some customers’ top human agents. Customer-impact metrics cited include $46,340 in incremental revenue for Kitsch over 90 days, 79% ticket automation for Simple Modern, and 60% and 45% drops in first response and resolution time for Everyday Dose. Siena targets mid-market to enterprise e-commerce brands to convert shoppers and automate support at scale. The company plans to launch Siena AI Academy, a learning hub with courses on building AI agents, emotional intelligence in AI, and CX metrics.
- ARTA
Participated · Series A · Oct 2022
Arta is a New York-based fulfillment technology company that automates ecommerce operations from shipping to tracking and insurance for merchants, marketplaces and auction houses. Led by CEO Adam Fields, the platform connects businesses with a network of service providers to accelerate ecommerce, reduce operational costs, and improve customer experiences. Customers and partners include Sotheby’s, Bonhams, Outer, The Expert and Joopiter. The company’s platform services over 65 countries and counts more than 500 service providers in its network. Arta raised $11M in a Series A to support growth and product development. The firm intends to use the funds to expand its technology platform, broaden international coverage, build compliance and insurance products, and add integrations for businesses. ARTA offers an API that automates shipping and fulfillment for high-value and collectible items, providing instant shipping costs for any item type and end-to-end services including shipping, packing, tracking, and insurance. Its platform removes barriers for sellers to launch or scale ecommerce globally by automating logistics for unique, oversized, or high-price items. The company ships thousands of items annually across 60+ countries for customers such as Sotheby's, LiveAuctioneers, Hauser & Wirth, and Artsy. ARTA reported its highest monthly shipment volume in April 2021 and its strongest quarter in Q1 across revenue and volume, and is projected to grow 4X in 2021. The company expects 10 API integrations to be live by the end of the summer and plans to expand its team and product offerings to meet growing merchant and marketplace demand.
