It announced completion of a strategic B round raising RMB 90 million (¥90M) from Zhuji Xienuo Xingshi Venture Investment Partnership, with Qingke Capital acting as exclusive financial adviser. Proceeds will be used to enhance and broaden the company’s product pipeline aimed at the global $100 billion intelligent tumor precision treatment market, and to expand domestic and international market coverage. Baishi plans to accelerate R&D, production and registration of integrated software-and-hardware intelligent tumor precision treatment solutions. The company will join Zhejiang’s Zhuji intelligent vision “10k mu 100 billion” new industry platform to advance its East China strategic layout and build R&D and production capabilities for precision surgical products. PVmed, launched in May 2017 and based in Guangzhou, China, develops AI-defined cancer treatment workflow products that automatically process and prepare 3D CT and MR data to help doctors plan and treat cancers. Its product portfolio includes iRT for Radiotherapy, iSA for Surgical Oncology, and iCS for Customized Oncology Software. The company’s solutions are deployed at over 200 hospitals in China and have processed more than 200,000 cancer patients. PVmed recently completed a sales and collaboration agreement with Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital. It intends to use the new funding to further develop its AI cancer treatment product portfolio and ecosystem and to accelerate adoption of its software and hardware by hospitals and medical-technology companies.
