- Vault Hill
Participated · Seed · Jan 2022
Vault Hill is a blockchain-based, human-centric metaverse that applies urban planning principles to encourage respectful development and monetization of virtual land (VLAND). The platform is designed to let users interact, form relationships, play games, curate art, buy virtual land, own NFTs and transact using $VHC or other cryptocurrencies. Vault Hill says it has secured six partnerships with global brands for digital wearables and health/wellbeing virtual offices and plans to launch the metaverse in Q1 2022. The company reports a community of about 90,000 across social media and an ongoing public sale of its $VHC token on major launchpads (Jan 10–14, 2022). Financially, Vault Hill completed pre-seed and private funding rounds that raised $2.1 million to accelerate development. Founder and CEO Jimi Daodu described the raise as a testament to the team and the product’s uniqueness.
- RaceFi
Participated · Seed · Dec 2021
RaceFi is the first AI/ML car racing game on Solana that combines racing within a digital metaverse. The game includes multiple modes such as Battles, PvP, PvE, and more. Players can own in-game property, earn rewards by leveraging that property to win races, and trade assets on a built-in marketplace. RaceFi positions itself at the intersection of NFTs, DeFi and gaming and aims to foster adoption within the Solana ecosystem. The team has experience launching successful games and its advisory board includes blockchain entrepreneurs such as Eric Su (ExNetwork), Kevin Abdulrahman, Kyle Nguyen (VBC Ventures), and Steven Lee (PolRare). After closing a $2.9M seed and private round, the company is preparing IDOs and a token sale to advance its roadmap.
- NuLink
Participated · Equity · Nov 2021
NuLink provides decentralized privacy protection technology via an API aimed at integrating privacy features into decentralized applications. Its platform is positioned to help developers, startups, small businesses and enterprises build applications while adopting security and privacy best practices. The company emphasizes privacy-preserving tooling for dApps rather than a consumer-facing product. NuLink is described as being based in Sweden. The article reports that NuLink completed a $1.6M strategic financing. The raise signals outside investor interest in its API-focused privacy offering. NuLink provides privacy-preserving technology for decentralized applications through an out-of-the-box API platform. The platform offers endpoint encryption and cryptographic access control, using Proxy Re-Encryption and Attribute-Based Encryption to grant access by policy. For data recipients, NuLink supports Zero-Knowledge Proofs for privacy-preserving data availability and can employ Fully Homomorphic Encryption for enterprise-level data computation. The company highlights use cases including encrypted NFT marketplaces, electronic health record sharing, joint medical data analysis, decentralized digital rights management, privacy-preserving social networks, and encrypted financial data prediction. Co-founder David Jiao said the roadmap is to create a smart and scalable software architecture and to evolve from privacy data sharing to privacy data computing while building industry-specific use cases. NuLink announced a $4 million raise from a syndicate of crypto investors, per the company press release.
