- Advocacy
Led · Seed · Mar 2026
Advocacy offers a context-driven platform that captures, organizes, and applies matter-critical information for litigators, moving work from isolated point solutions to a unified, memory-based workspace. Its technology ingests evidence—including documents, audio, and video—and continuously maps it to a centralized case timeline, boosting accuracy for research, drafting, analysis, and strategy. Built by experienced litigators, the system aims to eliminate the risk of AI hallucinations by preserving deep, matter-specific context throughout a case’s lifecycle. The product is already in use with paying clients and is running pilots at top-tier plaintiff and defense firms, including Am Law 100 practices. Recent updates extend the proprietary memory layer across every surface where litigation work occurs, enabling seamless context orchestration. With fresh capital, the company plans to grow its product and engineering teams, hire legal alignment experts, and deepen partnerships such as its ongoing collaboration with e-discovery leader Relativity. Though revenue figures have not been disclosed, Advocacy reports accelerating demand among large law firms and specialized boutiques.
- DiligenceSquared
Led · Seed · Mar 2026
DiligenceSquared applies generative AI and voice agents to conduct customer and market interviews that underpin commercial due-diligence reports for private-equity buyers. Its platform automates the data-gathering typically performed by high-priced consultants, then routes the findings to senior human consultants for verification and synthesis. The resulting 200-page-style reports, normally costing $500,000–$1 million from firms like McKinsey or Bain, are delivered by DiligenceSquared for roughly $50,000. Since launching in October as part of Y Combinator’s Fall 2025 cohort, the company has completed multiple projects for several of the world’s largest PE funds and mid-market investors. Co-founders Frederik Hansen (ex-Blackstone) and Søren Biltoft (ex-BCG) bring deep domain expertise, while third co-founder Harshil Rastogi contributes engineering experience from Google. Early traction suggests PE firms now engage the service earlier in their deal funnel because of the lower price point, potentially expanding the company’s addressable market. Although revenue figures were not disclosed, the successful seed raise underscores investor confidence in its scalable, cost-disruptive model.

- Stacklet
Participated · Series B · Jun 2024
Stacklet provides cloud governance and optimization as code, automating cost, compliance, and security controls across large cloud estates. The company was co-founded by the core creative team behind CNCF’s Cloud Custodian open-source project and its platform offers broad cloud resource coverage, proactive actions, automated remediation workflows, and preventative guardrails. Stacklet says organizations have reduced cloud expenses by up to 50% in 90 days, cut governance reporting times by up to 75%, and realized six-figure savings within months. Recognizable customers include A+E Networks, Avalara, Madhive, Center for Internet Security, Blackbaud, Truist, REPAY, Infoblox and several Fortune 500 leaders. The company reported 3x revenue growth in the last fiscal year. Stacklet plans to use new investment to accelerate product development and expand sales and marketing to scale adoption. Stacklet commercializes the Cloud Custodian open-source cloud governance project and offers a platform to manage policies, inventory, analytics and change logs across clouds, accounts, policies and regions. The product includes pre-defined policy packs encoding best practices while allowing customers to specify custom rules, plus analytics for policy health and resource auditing and real-time inventory and change management. The company targets security, cost optimization and regulatory compliance use cases and has signed early Fortune 2000 design partners, including FICO. Stacklet was co-founded by Travis Stanfield (CEO) and Kapil Thangavelu (CTO), the latter a co-creator of Cloud Custodian; the project is now a CNCF sandbox project. The team grew to about 15 employees in eight months and benefits from broader enterprise adoption of the open-source project. Stacklet has raised a total of $22 million to date and plans to use new funding to finish product development, expand engineering and go-to-market teams, and grow the Cloud Custodian community, with general availability planned later this year. Stacklet launched out of stealth with a cloud governance platform based on the open-source Cloud Custodian project created by co-founder Kapil Thangavelu. The company's commercial product adds an administrative layer to manage usage across thousands of cloud accounts, offers pre-packaged compliance policies, provides analytics, and maintains a resources database to surface issues. Founders Travis Stanfield (CEO) and Kapil Thangavelu met at Capital One, where Cloud Custodian was developed to replace one-off scripts for compliance and governance. The startup has three employees and plans to grow to a team of about 10 by year-end, hiring remotely to improve diversity. The open-source project has roughly 270 contributors worldwide, which Stacklet intends to nurture while adding enterprise-friendly functionality. Stacklet launched with a $4 million seed investment from Foundation Capital and Addition.
