  Ryder builds Ryder One, a coin-sized hardware wallet that lets users create and back up their crypto wallets in under 60 seconds. The device replaces traditional seed phrases with TapSafe, a redundant recovery method that splits backups across a smartphone and NFC recovery tags which must be physically reunited to regain access, removing a single point of failure. Ryder One operates offline for security while pairing with a companion mobile app for everyday use. The company plans to extend functionality so users can spend crypto directly from the wallet via tap-to-pay and other daily transactions, aiming to make digital assets part of routine commerce. Fresh capital will allow Ryder to scale hardware production, expand its engineering and marketing teams, and run a large visibility campaign. The seed financing totals $3.2 million and gives the company resources to continue iterating on its flagship product. No revenue, user, or geographic details were disclosed.
