Founded in 2021, Israel-based RAAAM Memory Technologies has created GCRAM, an on-chip memory architecture that offers higher density and lower power consumption than conventional SRAM while remaining compatible with standard CMOS processes. The company has already demonstrated GCRAM on silicon and is collaborating closely with strategic partner NXP Semiconductors to bring the technology into mass production. With its ability to improve memory scalability for AI and other advanced semiconductor applications, RAAAM addresses a critical pain point for chip designers. The firm plans to use newly raised capital to qualify and scale GCRAM across leading process nodes in multiple top-tier foundries and to deepen customer engagements. Including a prior EIC Accelerator grant, RAAAM has secured over $24 million to date. Headquarters are in Israel, with an R&D center in Switzerland, underscoring its multinational footprint. The company is positioning itself to transition from proven prototypes to high-volume, market-ready deployments in the near term.

Evulpo is a Zurich-based EdTech startup (founded 2020) that offers an AI-powered learning platform with curriculum-aligned content produced in collaboration with Swiss universities. The product combines explainer videos, concise summaries and interactive exercises with gamified, adaptive learning paths for students and planning tools, learning analytics and automatic grading for teachers. It operates in seven countries and is used by thousands of families and around 100 schools; average session length exceeds 30 minutes. Roughly 70% of the new capital is allocated to product development, including fully adaptive lessons, inter-class gamification and dashboards for teachers and school leaders. The company positions itself as foundational infrastructure for modern education systems to improve learning outcomes and reduce teacher workload. To date Evulpo has raised over €19.9 million, including prior €2.4M in angel funding and an €8.2M seed round, plus the recent Series A. evulpo operates a personal tuition platform that gives primary and secondary school pupils access to explanatory short-form videos and interactive exercises of varying difficulty. The company aligns its educational content to the actual curricula taught in each operating market. Its product uses a freemium model: a free tier intended to reach students regardless of origin or financial background, plus an annual paid subscription that provides detailed statistics about students' tuition journeys. The platform currently has 500,000 users. evulpo is available in seven European markets (Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the UK) and plans to expand into South America and Africa with launches slated for the fourth quarter. The founding team comprises Christian Marty (aged 34), Manuel Kant and Jonas Feldmann; Marty previously founded Zurich-based tuition school Schlaumacher.

biped.ai develops a shoulder-worn AI copilot navigation harness that uses 3D cameras and algorithms derived from autonomous driving to guide blind and visually impaired users in real time and avoid obstacles. The wearable is positioned as an assistive mobility solution to increase users' independence and safety. Founded in 2021 and based in Lausanne, the company has secured CHF 1.2M to fund growth. Proceeds are earmarked to enter the US market and expand across Europe, scale operations, and further develop the technology. biped.ai has established partnerships and recognition, including a late-2022 collaboration with Honda Research Institute on software innovation and winning the Prix de la Canne Blanche from SZBlind (UCBA) earlier this year. The company has also received support from Venture Kick, FIT, the Future of Health Grant, Genilem, the Biopole startup fund and ICC Hackathon. biped.ai developed a shoulder-worn smart harness equipped with wide-angle cameras that provides blind and visually impaired users with anticipatory collision alerts, scene understanding, and navigation via 3D audio in headphones. The solution evolved through five prototypes and testing with 110 users to converge on a first market version. The company was founded in January 2021 after an Idiap Research Institute hackathon and is incubated in the Digital Health Hub/Biopôle ecosystem in Epalinges/Lausanne. The team has grown to seven people with backgrounds largely in robotics and AI. biped.ai has received pre-seed funding from business angels and two venture capital funds and has just won the Biopôle Startup Fund to support operational costs and product shipment. The Biopôle award can provide up to CHF 90,000 per year (Biopôle’s startup fund has an approximate annual budget of CHF 500,000). The company plans to take pre-orders at VivaTech and to officially launch its device in September 2022, while pursuing FDA approval for US expansion by the end of 2022. biped.ai (formerly SoundMap) builds what it calls the world’s first autonomous walking device that uses 3D cameras and artificial-intelligence algorithms to guide visually impaired users. The shoulder-worn lightweight harness delivers real-time directional audio feedback via bone-conduction headphones while tracking objects and predicting trajectories. By filtering the most important information the device lets users anticipate movement a few seconds ahead and, the company says, can provide information up to ten times faster than competitors at an affordable cost. The team plans to industrialize the device and expand headcount to bring the product to market in summer 2022. biped.ai will use the CHF 150,000 award to advance industrialization and scaling efforts. Founders are Maël Fabien (CEO), Bruno Vollmer (CTO), and Rudolf Braun (Principal Audio Engineer).

Re-Fresh Global develops technology to transform textile waste into new raw materials. The company has produced a turn-key Smart Textile Waste Upcycling Microfactory solution and three products: Re-SanPulp, Re-Thanol and Re-Nano. It was co-founded in 2019 by Revital Nadiv and Viktoria Kanar and is based in Berlin and Tel Aviv. Re-Fresh Global raised EUR1.1M in pre-seed funding to strengthen its research and development activities. The funds are intended to create a blueprint for its first smart-up urban microfactory demo plant to increase capacity to process textile waste. Re-Nano is described as a patented microfibrillated cellulose intended to reduce a textile company’s carbon footprint.

DuraMon provides sensor technologies and a Smart Analytics solution that enable early and precise corrosion monitoring for reinforced and prestressed concrete infrastructures. The system pairs hardware sensors with data-interpretation services to support cost-efficient, resource-efficient, and safe maintenance strategies. The company completed its Minimum Viable Product one month after incorporation, secured initial contracts, and has since generated growing revenues and an expanding customer base. Proceeds from the recent seed financing will be used to hire staff, broaden the customer portfolio, and optimise and automate operations. DuraMon aims to accelerate market entry and introduce its technology to new customers across multiple geographies. The startup was founded in 2021 and is based in Zurich.
