  • NextWork

    Led · Seed · Mar 2026

NextWork offers an online platform where learners build real AI projects—such as chatbots and automated workflows—and publish authenticated portfolios that employers can easily verify. By shifting focus from traditional credentials to demonstrable outcomes, the company serves as a trust layer for AI-related hiring. Since its 2024 launch, more than 190,000 users in over 190 countries have completed projects on the site, with 22% of those projects created by U.S. learners aged 25–35. The company plans to establish its U.S. headquarters in Austin, Texas and will direct new funds toward engineering and growth hiring. NextWork’s model addresses the widening AI skills gap, helping individuals switch careers or earn promotions by showcasing concrete abilities. Financial details beyond user metrics have not been publicly disclosed, but recent backing underscores investor confidence in its growth trajectory.

  • alphaXiv

    Participated · Seed · Nov 2025

Founded in 2024 by Rehaan Ahmad, Raj Palleti, Daniel Kim, and Lino Le Van, alphaXiv streamlines the path from cutting-edge AI research to real-world application. The platform aggregates research papers, public benchmarks, and reference implementations, allowing engineers to surface relevant work, compare new approaches to leading baselines, and interact directly with code. Since its public launch in 2024, alphaXiv has attracted millions of users across academia and industry who integrate the service into their research workflows. Applied AI teams report turning research insights into production features in days rather than months using alphaXiv’s tools. The product also functions as a global workspace, fostering cross-country collaborations—including between researchers in the United States and China—on emerging AI breakthroughs. By lowering the barrier between discovery and deployment, alphaXiv aims to power the next wave of “research engineers” poised to shape AI’s future.

  • Cosmoserve Space

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2025

Cosmoserve Space is developing autonomous robotic spacecraft designed to capture and de-orbit space junk, addressing the escalating threat of orbital debris to satellites and future missions. Founded by former ISRO scientist Dr. Chiranjeevi Phanindra, the company blends advanced robotics with deep aerospace expertise to create a safer orbital environment. Its near-term roadmap includes accelerating R&D, expanding its engineering team, and building full-scale prototypes of its debris-mitigation technology. Cosmoserve positions itself as a critical infrastructure player for sustainable space operations, aiming to partner with global space agencies and commercial operators. While the company is still pre-revenue, the oversubscribed pre-seed financing provides runway to validate its technology and form early commercial partnerships. The team intends to leverage these funds to fast-track development and demonstrate the viability of large-scale debris removal in low-Earth orbit.

  • Musubi

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2025

Musubi builds an adaptive Trust & Safety AI platform that autonomously detects and mitigates spam, scams, fraud, hate speech, harassment, and age-inappropriate content. Its AiMod product uses multi-modal machine learning, including large language models and generative AI, to understand behavioral signals and content patterns. The system is designed to learn from and work alongside human moderators, claiming better-than-human performance and unlimited scalability. Musubi was founded by the former CTO of Grindr and OkCupid and is based in Santa Barbara, Calif. The company already protects over 45 million users and has partnerships across dating, social media, and marketplace sectors, with BlueSky cited as an early adopter. Musubi says it quintuplied its ARR in the last quarter and plans to expand into new verticals and bring the latest AI research to market.

  • Gimbal Space

    Participated · Equity · Aug 2024

Gimbal Space is building commoditized components for spacecraft attitude determination and control systems (ADCS), including star trackers, reaction wheels and torque rods. The company aims to deliver parts in roughly half the lead time and at prices 25–30% below legacy suppliers. Gimbal plans to expand its ADCS portfolio to magnetometers, sun sensors and rate sensors. To reach those goals it has identified a manufacturing partner in India, maintains a director there, and will contract-manufacture in both India and the U.S. in the short term while targeting its own manufacturing buildout later. Founder Dhaval Shiyani brings hardware-scale experience from Tesla, Ethicon (J&J), Apollo Fusion (acquired by Astra) and Planet.
