  GasSecure is an Oslo, Norway-based developer and supplier of a wireless gas detector. Its product is based on technology developed by Norwegian SINTEF ICT. The wireless detector aims to offer greater flexibility than today’s wired alternatives. The company is founded and headed by CEO Knut Sandven and CTO Håkon Sagberg. GasSecure has received a NOK33m investment from SINTEF Venture, Viking Venture, Proventure Seed and Investinor. The investment was announced on 15 March 2010.
