The company is positioning itself to expand secondary-market activity amid a drop in IPOs and growing demand for liquidity in private markets. Reported trading concentration on Hiive was high in Q4 2025: the top 20 most active startups accounted for 86.4% of trading value, and the top five (including SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic) made up 55.6% of value. Hiive intends to use the recently raised $2 million to grow its secondary-market operations. Upflex operates a global marketplace for flexible workspaces, giving companies on-demand access to private offices, desks, and meeting rooms by the day, week, month, or year. The platform emphasizes sustainability through a partnership with Trees.org and claims to plant a tree for every booked area; it has planted 10,000 trees thanks to its first 100 clients.
