Overview

We believe that the core of early-stage investing is being the first to find extraordinary founders and then to relentlessly support them in their pursuit of big dreams. With this vision, we are proud to have shared the journey with many startups in our portfolio who have become leaders in their respective industries. When we believe and invest in a startup, we become not just their investor, but we see our role often take shape as a friend, sometimes as a family, or even at times simply as a fan. We aim to be a reliable partner by creating an ecosystem that enables our startups to spring up and flourish together.

  • Superblock

    Participated · Equity · Jul 2023

Superblock, based in Seoul, South Korea and led by founder Ben (Jae-Yun) Kim, builds products, developer tools and decentralized applications to grow the Over Protocol. Over Protocol is a new layer-1 blockchain built on a protocol called "Ethanos" that treats only active accounts as valid, letting full nodes discard obsolete data and operate with less storage. That design reduces storage requirements so that anyone can run a node and become a validator on a home PC. Superblock raised $8 million across two funding rounds and plans to use the funds to expand operations and accelerate development efforts. Investors in the rounds include SK, Netmarble, DSC, E&Investment, Schmidt, SpringCamp and NaverZ. The company emphasizes enabling broader decentralization by making node operation feasible for ordinary users.

It will use the new funding to open a production plant in South Korea to scale manufacturing and to double headcount to 42 employees.

  • AnFin

    Participated · Series A · Jun 2022

Anfin offers a mobile-first stock trading app that provides fractional trading (as little as 10,000 VND), proprietary stock profiling and risk-assessment tools, and social investment features including live audio rooms and a ranked newsfeed. The app currently lists about 300 stocks and nine ETFs and emphasizes educational content for its primarily Gen Z and millennial user base (90% are 18–35). Since launching in October 2021, Anfin has been downloaded more than one million times and has about 100,000 funded accounts; deposits have reached up to $5 million and total transaction value up to $10 million, with average transaction values around $20. Anfin monetizes through trading commissions and a subscription product called Anfin VIP, and it explicitly does not use payment for order flow or sell user data; it routes orders through Vietnam’s regulated exchanges via brokerage partners. The company plans to add more financial asset classes and expand its social-investing features, including influencer-driven incentives and further community tools. Leadership frames the product as a way to lower the cost of investing in Vietnam by offering fractional shares and instant settlement options via spread or liquidity provision.
