- Clouted
Participated · Seed · May 2026
Clouted builds infrastructure to handle both the creation and distribution strategy for short video clips by coordinating a network of more than 100,000 gig creators to edit content and applying AI to determine ideal platforms and target audiences. Its system runs thousands of experiments—described internally as similar to penetration testing—to identify clipping and distribution approaches that trigger viral performance, and it uses continuous testing loops so campaigns become progressively more targeted and effective. The founder, Justin Banusing, first applied the technology to promote &Friends, a Manila-based festival that now draws over 20,000 attendees. Clouted positions itself against automated clipping competitors like Overlap AI while aiming toward the larger enterprise marketing infrastructure market exemplified by players such as CreatorIQ and Hightouch. The company completed a16z’s Speedrun accelerator in 2024 and is scaling its platform and creator network following its seed raise.
- Nirmata
Led · Equity · Feb 2025
Nirmata builds Policy-as-Code solutions, including Nirmata Control Hub, to automate security, governance, and compliance across cloud-native and hybrid infrastructures. The platform leverages AI to automatically generate, test, enforce policies and remediate critical issues for platform engineering and security teams. Nirmata is powered by Kyverno, an open-source Kubernetes policy engine that has surpassed 3.2 billion downloads and is a top CNCF project. The company reported a 10X increase in annual revenues for its policy and governance products in 2024 and counts customers such as LinkedIn, Deutsche Telekom and Wayfair. Nirmata says it will scale product development and go-to-market to serve as a centralized hub for security automation from code to cloud. The company maintains a presence in the US and India and has received industry recognition such as CNCF Top 20 contributor and Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. Nirmata offers a unified management plane for Kubernetes clusters and workloads, built to help enterprise DevOps teams with self-service cluster provisioning, visibility, health, metrics, alerts, compliance and application deployments. Its core product ecosystem centers on Kyverno, a policy engine for Kubernetes that provides native tools and language to secure containerized resources. Kyverno has seen significant adoption growth—since early 2021 it surpassed six million downloads—and is used by customers such as Novartis, The New York Times, Duke Energy, TriNet and Grofers as well as open source projects like Flux and KubeArmor. In May 2021 Nirmata launched the Policy Manager for Kyverno (PMK) to simplify multi-cluster adoption and enable Policy-as-Code via GitOps workflows. The company plans to use new funding to accelerate Kyverno’s growth, scale product and operations to support the Kyverno community, establish an engineering team in India, and expand sales and marketing to drive adoption. Led by CEO Jim Bugwadia, Nirmata is positioning itself to capture enterprise demand as organizations accelerate Kubernetes and cloud deployments.
- Bifrost AI
Participated · Series A · Oct 2024
Bifrost builds a 3D data generation platform that creates simulated 3D worlds to train computer vision and robotics perception models, enabling teams to adapt models to new objects, tasks and surroundings faster. The platform is designed so AI engineers can generate training data without a dedicated 3D team, positioning it as an alternative to tools that require specialized 3D operators. Bifrost is currently in closed beta with select heavy-industry partners and plans a public launch in the coming months while hiring to speed product development. Its primary users are AI developers focused on robotics, computer vision and perception across sectors including robotics, aerospace, defense, maritime, geospatial and industrial automation; target customers include large industrial companies, government organizations and growth-to-late-stage startups. The company sells its platform via an annual subscription model and has 22 staff across the U.S. and Singapore. Founders Charles Wong and Aravind Kandiah started Bifrost in 2020; Wong previously worked on perception at Nutonomy and Kandiah built a medical AI system for detecting diabetic retinopathy.
