  Skydrone Robotics is a La Rochelle–based drone manufacturer that has evolved over the past decade from a start-up into a small industrial SME focused on both civil and military applications. Its aircraft are tailored for logistics missions such as transporting supplies for armed forces and performing inspection work on electrical power lines. The company currently employs about 20 people—three-quarters of whom are engineers—and is hiring 10 additional staff to support expansion. Fresh capital will finance a new 2,000 m² plant capable of assembling several hundred drones per year, marking a shift from prototyping to scaled production. Management’s stated ambition is to become a leading player in the European civil-military drone market. Besides ramping manufacturing, funds will also bolster R&D and operational capacity to meet growing demand.

  Optikan builds an industrial terahertz scanner designed to inspect manufactured products in real time on production lines. The company aims to democratize the use of terahertz technology in industry and to offer a concrete lever to reduce manufacturers' carbon footprints, according to Jean-Baptiste Perraud. Optikan will use the new funding to finance development of its industrial scanner. The product is positioned for on-line quality control in manufacturing environments. The announcement was shared via French Tech Bordeaux and references support from regional authorities.

  Libu develops biomimetic lighting systems that reproduce natural sunlight to align indoor lighting with human circadian rhythms. Its core product modulates intensity, spectrum, and color temperature over a 24-hour cycle to improve health and performance. The technology follows three years of research by optical engineers Manon Loustau and Tinou Seguin and is associated with studies reporting about a 25% reduction in perceived stress. Libu has commercial traction across offices, open-plan areas, factories and 24/7 sites and lists partnerships with Suez, Capgemini, Colas, and Enedis. The company announced a €1M fundraise supported by ADI Nouvelle-Aquitaine and a syndicate of business angel funds to intensify commercialization, increase production capacity, expand its product range for industrial needs, and strengthen the team. Its stated focus is scaling deployment and extending the product line to address diverse professional environments.
