V2C designs and manufactures semi-fast smart EV chargers that combine hardware and software, including V2C Cloud and V2C Payments (a SaaS solution) and integrated payment terminals. The company manages the entire value chain from product development to manufacturing at its central headquarters in Valencia, using local suppliers and a just-in-time production model. V2C has opened offices in France and Italy with local teams and established a headquarters presence in Portugal, while distributing in other European countries and North Africa through specialised distributors. Its client roster includes Saltoki (exclusive distributor in Spain), Galp, Repsol, Mutua Madrileña, Renault, BMW, Volvo, Europcar and the airports of Madrid and Barcelona. V2C reports positive EBITDA since its establishment in 2015 and has generated positive cash flow and profitability. The new funding is intended to drive growth in key European markets and support the company’s international consolidation plan. V2C specializes in the design and development of intelligent chargers for electric vehicles, integrating the full value chain from Valencia. Its product lineup includes Trydan, a charger with triple connectivity via solar panels, smart devices, and virtual assistants. The company has commercialized more than 20,000 chargers and is present in over 25 countries. V2C reports positive profitability since its founding in 2015 and has increased production sevenfold while doubling its workforce in 2023. It has commercial agreements with distributors such as Saltoki, MediaMarkt, Amazon and AENA, and is the official supplier of chargers at Madrid and Barcelona airports. As part of its strategic plan, V2C aims to sell 100,000 chargers in the next five years and to launch new smart charging solutions. V2C develops and manufactures high-tech e-Chargers for electric vehicles, including smart features such as Alexa connectivity, dynamic charging management and strong photovoltaic integration. The company has a fully localized value chain and production facilities in Valencia and performs in-house R&D. Since its founding in 2015 by Víctor Sanchis, V2C has sold more than 7,000 charging points worldwide. Management reports positive cash flows since inception and consistently positive EBITDA. V2C has a product roadmap of hardware and software solutions intended to position charging points at the centre of a new energy consumption ecosystem. With the new funding the company plans to accelerate global sales and launch additional intelligent charging solutions, targeting more than 100,000 chargers in the next five years.

MATCH biosystems, founded in June 2020 in Valencia, develops rapid, non-invasive, low-cost diagnostic tests with high sensitivity and specificity to detect pathogens in clinical hospital and veterinary environments. The company has focused its first launch on detecting several high-prevalence pathogens in intensive care units (ICU). It aims to deliver results in minutes, versus the 24–72 hours required by current devices. MATCH is led by Ramón Martínez Mañez, director of the Institute of Molecular Recognition Research and Technological Development (IDM) at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The financing received from Clave (via Tech Transfer UPV) and BHV Partners will be used to validate a proof of concept, obtain a minimum viable product (MVP) and begin regulatory approval processes. BHV Partners is also providing advisory support to the startup.

Quibim is a Valencia-based startup developing foundational AI models for medical imaging across oncology, immunology, neurology, and metabolic disorders. Its flagship product, QP-Prostate, is designed to improve prostate cancer detection from X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, and the company is developing separate products for the brain, liver, breast, and lung. Quibim also offers QP-Insights for processing multi-omics data, intended for use in clinical trials and related studies. The company has FDA 510(k) clearance for QP-Prostate (2023), about 170 installations globally, and partnerships that include Stanford University and Mass General Brigham. Quibim has raised around $70 million since inception and plans to use new funding to accelerate product development and U.S. expansion. Longer-term, the company intends to create digital twins of the human body to serve dynamic models that improve diagnostic accuracy and disease understanding. QUIBIM develops QUIBIM Precision, an AI-powered radiology platform that extracts and quantifies disease-specific biomarkers from medical images to support diagnostics. The company has launched more than 20 algorithms covering conditions including cancer, Alzheimer’s, osteoarthritis and liver disease. Its products are used in over 70 hospitals and in 11 clinical trials worldwide. QUIBIM has been expanding into chest X-ray and CT scan algorithms for detecting COVID-19. The founders spun the company out of La Fe Health Research Institute in Valencia; the team’s imaging process was adopted as an industry standard by the European Society of Radiology in 2013. Following a recent capital injection, the company plans to promote new prostate, musculoskeletal and oncology solutions, expand its workforce and grow international sales and market presence. Quibim extracts quantitative imaging biomarkers from radiological and nuclear medicine images using original computational processing methods. Its core product is the Quibim Precision® cloud-based medical-imaging analysis platform, which can be deployed in private instances for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies running clinical trials. The platform processes X‑ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and PET images with advanced algorithms including GPU processing, machine learning and big data methodologies. Quibim’s software aims to enrich diagnostic information and enable earlier assessment of pharmacological treatment response. The company is led by CEO Ángel Alberich-Bayarri and Dr. Luis Martí Bonmatí, who serves as director of the company’s Scientific Council and is a noted radiologist and director of the Clinical Imaging Area at Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe. At the time of the report the team comprised 11 people; the company had previously closed a round in late 2016 and recently benefited from H2020 SME Instrument Phase II funding. Quibim (Quantitative Imaging Biomarkers in Medicine) is a medical‑imaging spin‑off from Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe, founded in 2012 and based in Valencia. The company offers a cloud analysis platform that processes radiological images and measures biomarkers of organs and tissues to enable earlier, more precise diagnoses and to evaluate early response to pharmacological treatments. The funds raised are intended to accelerate development and commercialization of that software. Quibim was founded by Ángel Alberich‑Bayarri and Dr. Luis Martí Bonmatí. The company was the first Spanish firm to receive financing from a technology‑transfer fund created within a public university.
