  • Canid

    Led · Series A · Jun 2025

Canid offers an integrated platform that automates pediatric vaccine workflows by scanning a vaccine barcode and handling ordering, reporting, billing and compliance. The platform integrates directly with electronic health records and uses AI, software and economies of scale to remove administrative burden and financial risk from practices. Key features include automated logistics, guaranteed payments (no inventory risk), and data-driven patient outreach to improve vaccination completion rates. The company says its solution reduces the 15 weekly hours pediatricians spend on administrative tasks and frees clinicians to focus on patient care. Canid partners with more than 150 pediatricians across 12 states, covers over 300,000 children in patient panels, and has facilitated vaccinations for 121,000 patients. The recent funding will be used to expand the company’s reach among independent pediatric practices across the U.S. Canid provides an end-to-end vaccine workflow automation and management platform that helps practices manage the purchasing, delivery, and record management of vaccines. Its suite of tools offers practices a unified way to engage patients, close care gaps, and reduce provider burnout while delivering higher-quality care. The company’s platform is designed to empower clinicians and drive improvements in public health. Canid raised $1.5M in funding to support growth. The company intends to use the proceeds to expand its geographic presence to ten new U.S. states and to add new tools to manage vaccine patient populations.

  • Fundraise Up

    Participated · Equity · Jan 2025

Fundraise Up provides a donation platform nonprofits can add to their websites or use via campaign pages to manage fundraising drives, track donation stats, and accept multiple payment types. The company emphasizes deep AI integration to personalize suggested donation amounts, recommend upgrades to recurring gifts, and intervene when donors are about to cancel. Fundraise Up charges nonprofits a pay-as-you-go fee model (4% per transaction plus payment processor fees) and offers technical support without upfront contracts. The platform claims over 3,000 nonprofit organizations use its tools, including the Canadian Red Cross, the American Heart Association, and The Salvation Army UK. Founded in 2017 by Peter Byrnes, Anton Isaykin and Yuriy Smirnov, the company positions its AI models and dataset as competitive advantages versus later adopters.

  • Fathom

    Led · Series A · Sep 2024

Fathom is an AI meeting notetaker and transcription product that launched in 2020. It provides transcriptions, smart meeting summaries with chapters, automatic action items, draft follow-up emails, the "Ask Fathom" chatbot, and team-focused features. The company builds and fine-tunes its own models (variants of open models) with an internal team that treats model work differently from typical engineering. Fathom offers a generous free plan and paid plans that start at $19/month. Over the last two years the company says revenue increased 90x and usage increased 20x, and more than 8,500 companies use its HubSpot integration. Its roadmap emphasizes more integrations, AI agents that can perform tasks and interface with CRMs, and surfacing ambient intelligence to company leadership. Fathom builds an AI notetaker that automatically records and transcribes Zoom calls and generates post-call summaries. Users can highlight important moments during calls via Fathom’s Zoom or desktop app, then email summaries or import them into CRMs. The product was spun out of work begun at UserVoice by founder and CEO Richard White and the startup went through Y Combinator. Fathom is available for free today, with paid features planned over time while the core experience will remain free. While sales teams are an obvious early user base, the founder says the platform targets anyone who spends a significant amount of time on Zoom calls. Competitors cited in the article include Chorus, Gong, and Otter.
