  • Ordermentum

    Led · Equity · May 2026

Founded in 2014 by Adam Theobald and Andrew Low, Ordermentum has built a digital backbone for Australia’s wholesale food and beverage trade, connecting roughly 50,000 venues with suppliers through a single ordering, payments and reconciliation platform. The company claims deep integration in day-to-day industry workflows and, after its September 2023 all-stock merger with rival Foodbomb, had scaled to about 40,000 venues, 850 suppliers and processed more than $1.2 billion in orders annually. Ordermentum says it will use new capital to deepen AI capabilities and pursue acquisitions that complement its existing wholesale technology stack. The recent financing values the merged business above $150 million and is intended to accelerate product and market expansion while enabling partial exits for some earlier investors.

  • Checkbox

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2026

Checkbox offers an AI Legal Front Door that captures legal requests directly from tools such as email, Slack, Teams, Salesforce, and company intranets, then routes or automates those matters through intelligent, no-code workflows. The platform’s AI agents let business users self-serve common tasks—from drafting contracts to approving conflicts—while escalating complex, high-risk issues to legal staff. By centralizing intake and providing real-time visibility into demand, workload, and cycle times, Checkbox helps corporate legal teams improve resource planning and showcase their value to the business. More than 100 enterprise organizations, including SAP, PepsiCo, and multiple Fortune 500 firms, already use the product. Hitachi reports that 83 % of routine legal and compliance requests are now partially or fully automated with Checkbox, freeing attorneys for higher-value work. With fresh capital, the company plans to deepen AI capabilities, expand integrations across the tech stack, and drive wider adoption of its platform as the industry standard entry point for legal services.

  • 1Breadcrumb

    Led · Equity · Jun 2024

1Breadcrumb is a worksite and process management software platform that initially focuses on construction and aims to spread to other high-risk worksites to improve safety and productivity. The platform provides a straightforward digital application for compliance and site issues, seeking to replace siloed, paper-based workflows and manual administration. The company says nearly two-thirds of construction sites still use paper-based workflows and more than 25,000 subcontractors and 300,000 site workers in Australia and the UK use its product. CEO Simon Elliott says the company began with the needs of individuals on-site to provide transparency between general contractors and workers. 1Breadcrumb positions itself alongside companies such as SafetyCulture in the worksite safety tech space. The company raised $4 million to support international expansion and ambitions to digitise high-risk industries. The article frames the opportunity within a US$12 trillion global construction market.
