  Sekai is a French startup studio that creates interactive consumer entertainment experiences using official anime licenses, starting with Naruto. The company secured a global license (excluding Japan and China) from TV Tokyo/Shueisha to develop Naruto-branded mobile apps, digital collectibles, and real-life events or fan conventions. Sekai is actively developing and experimenting with its first mobile app, aiming for social, interactive experiences rather than a direct Pokémon Go clone. The team emphasizes hands-on control and validation with the IP holder while partnering with external experts for specific tasks. Sekai plans to roll out a new IP every year and does not want to be known solely for Naruto. The company has raised €10 million (≈$10.9M) from investors to fund its work.

Its technology blends proprietary recording methods, signal processing, and AI-driven techniques (patent applications pending) to reproduce realism, breath, and presence. The company has applied Re:Sense™ across VTuber and voice-drama production, live streams and events, museum AR audio guides, and location-based projects, and it operates the Echo Canvas® audio platform and the imAR AR spatial-audio app developed with Tokyu. Clepseadra positions its tools to let creators produce high-quality spatial audio without specialized equipment and to let consumers access premium experiences on standard smartphones and headphones. The company says it aims for Re:Sense™ to become an infrastructure for broad access to high-quality audio experiences and to raise the level of audio creation and consumption. Clepseadra was founded in February 2020 and is based in Ota Ward, Tokyo.
