- Cascade Space
Participated · Seed · Jul 2025
Cascade Space is building the Cascade Portal, an end-to-end platform for satellite communication system design, test, and operations. The company recently open-sourced spacelink, a Python library with functions for communication system analysis used in the Portal. Cascade says the tools are intended to accelerate communication system design and reduce a major bottleneck for companies operating in lunar and deep space. The team includes veteran space engineers from SpaceX and Astra. The company will use the funding to accelerate development of its platform and related infrastructure. Cascade Space was founded in 2025 and is based in San Francisco.
- Neurable
Participated · Equity · May 2024
Neurable develops patented signal-processing technology, branded Neurable AI, that translates brain signals into actionable data on focus, distraction, mental fatigue and cognitive recovery. Its newest consumer product, the MW75 Neuro LT headset, pairs with an updated mobile app to surface these insights in real time, bringing laboratory-grade BCI capabilities into a sleek, everyday form factor. The company plans to embed its platform across broader cognitive-health and human-performance markets, with near-term emphasis on gaming and e-sports where marginal improvements in concentration and reaction time can be decisive. Beyond consumer applications, Neurable supplies research-grade headsets via a partnership with human-behavior platform iMotions and is working with MeSpace on adaptive workstations. Management positions the company to lead a projected $52 billion global BCI market by 2034 through ethical, accessible brain data tools. Including the latest financing, Neurable has raised $65 million to date, providing capital for product expansion and additional device integrations.
- Novig
Participated · Seed · Aug 2023
Novig operates an order-book–based, commission-free sports trading platform that matches bettors directly against one another, eliminating the traditional sportsbook ‘vig.’ The exchange targets serious sports traders by providing transparent, market-driven odds and advanced trading tools. In 2025 the company posted a 10× surge in trading volume, and its annualized volume now exceeds $4 billion. Novig is seeking a Commodity Futures Trading Commission Designated Contract Market (DCM) license to make the platform accessible in all 50 U.S. states. The fresh capital will fund product expansion into additional markets, deeper liquidity, and first-of-its-kind functionality that blends financial-market innovation with live sports. Management is also onboarding institutional liquidity providers and has grown the team to over 50 employees to support these initiatives.
- Gridware
Participated · Seed · Jun 2023
Gridware is a San-Francisco-based grid-technology company whose pole-mounted Gridscope devices capture mechanical, electrical, and environmental data to enable Active Grid Response (AGR). Tens of thousands of these sensors are already installed on U.S. distribution poles, and the firm’s utility partners collectively serve roughly 40% of American electricity customers. The system pinpoints the location and cause of faults, helping crews respond faster and, in some cases, avoid failures altogether. Early deployments include Duquesne Light Company, which rolled out 1,700 additional devices after a successful pilot and subsequently won a PUF innovation award. With the fresh capital, Gridware plans to expand manufacturing capacity, scale deployment operations, and hire across hardware, firmware, software, data science, and machine-learning teams. The company is also preparing for international pilots in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Ultimately, Gridware aims to help utilities worldwide improve reliability without expensive system overhauls.
- Optery
Participated · Seed · May 2023
Optery provides a freemium opt-out service that scans hundreds of data brokers, delivers reports with deep links and screenshots, and offers paid monthly or yearly subscriptions to automatically opt users out and monitor reappearances. Its patented internal search engine and crawler evade data brokers' anti-bot protections to discover information other engines miss. Since launch about a year and a half ago, Optery's coverage has grown from roughly 150 sites to about 240. The company is positioning itself to build a broader data rights management platform that lets consumers dictate how companies may use their data, citing AI's growing appetite for data as a driver. Its product is used for general privacy protection and in sensitive cases, such as helping victims of domestic violence remove location traces. To pursue this roadmap Optery recently raised new seed funding, bringing total investment to $6 million.
