- SolidWatts
Participated · Seed · Mar 2026
SolidWatts builds a solid-state RF platform that delivers high-power dielectric heating for industrial processes, reportedly converting over 80% of electrical input into usable heating power. The technology generates electromagnetic waves to heat materials internally, reducing energy losses to surrounding infrastructure and improving overall process efficiency while aiming to limit maintenance and support high uptime. Originating from high-power RF applications used in scientific research (including experience at CERN), the company was founded in 2022 and is based in Pully. SolidWatts targets energy-intensive sectors such as chemical and pharmaceutical production, food processing, carbon capture and advanced recycling. Financially, the company completed an €850k pre-Seed in January 2025 and has now closed a €1.9 million Seed round to scale its platform and run pilot projects. The company projects that electrifying even a small share of industrial heating could yield significant emissions reductions, estimating that replacing 1% of these processes with its technology could cut about 36 million tonnes of CO2 annually.
- EDENCORE Technologies
Led · Seed · Dec 2025
